We stayed at the bridge inn for two nights and it was a terrible experience. The first room we were given was beyond filthy, so we asked to be moved. Unfortunately the second room wasn’t much better -it was dirty and sub standard. The bedding was covered in hairs forcing us to buy our own. The shower was so unhygienic that we couldn’t even use it. This is not a hotel anyone should consider staying at under any circumstances.

Six of my team arrived at The Bridge Inn on Saturday night, just before midnight. We were travelling between Arbroath and Glasgow. A staff member called Iona was waiting for us. She was very friendly and welcoming, showed everyone to their rooms and then stood behind the bar till 1.30am, serving drinks and chatting with the guys. She was absolutely lovely, and made everyone's day. Individuals like her are a major asset to any business, and we'd all hope to see her again if we had to stay there in the future. The rooms were very basic and tired looking, but clean and comfortable. Nobody had anything to complain about when we left at 11am on Sunday.

Dreadful experience. Room and bathroom were filthy. It was a last minute trip. The whole place is really rundown and in need of a very very very deep clean. I laid the bath towels on the disgusting carpet that was covered in white stains so my feet didn’t have to touch them. The bathroom was absolutely vile. We chose to leave without a wash because it was so gross

Our second visit here and this visit was far better than the first one. First of all all the staff we encountered were fantastic especially the girl who attended to us. I didn't get her name. The food was really good but my only negative from this visit was the price. You get more for your money at a local takeaway and some of the dishes are far too expensive here. It would probably attract more customers with more reasonable prices.

Three rooms were booked for a business trip for myself and two colleagues. We only stayed a maximum of 7 hours to sleep due to our late night booking and arrival. After accessing my room I went straight to bed without a second thought. My bed was pleasant enough but my colleague stated his was very uncomfortable. I awoke in the morning to find the room in a very dilapidated state and in need of renovation. There was wallpaper hanging from the walls, very damp conditions and the toilet leaked. I found the shower very dirty and had mould in the corners. My colleagues made virtually the same comments regarding their rooms. This could be a really good and interesting hotel combined with the Chinese restaurant, unfortunately it’s going to take a lot of renovation in order for the hotel business to really thrive.

I had heard good things about this restaurant and I was keen to try the food, I looked them up on Google a few days earlier to check out their opening times etc. We hadn’t booked a table. It was at lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon. We entered the building only to be told there was no meals being served due a private wedding party booking that day. It would have been helpful if they could let people know they’re not always open to the the public for meals. I had travelled from a different area.

This establishment is local to me, the quality of food and service we experienced last night was excellent as was the ambience all enlivened by friendly efficient staff who responded to my cousin’s knowledge of Cantonese with humour and maybe a little bemusement, I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant although I have never stayed in the hotel.

Do not stay here I have been freezing for three nights they don’t care no one has apologised not even offered a free drink they gave me an old electric heater which stunk and smelled like it was burning inside. The manager is not around to speak to I’m so disgusted that I paid £50 a night to freeze and no one has been in the room no toilet rolls shocking shocking shocking😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
