We stayed in one of the caves which was novel. They are unheated but surprisingly comfortable in our January visit. The staff were all delightful and did their best to accommodate our vegetarianism. But the food was not great. The dining room was under heated on our first night And they seemed reluctant to run the single gas heater at full pelt so we ate dinner in our overcoats. The second night was better as there were more diners. The Wi-Fi was terrible and there was no Wi-Fi in our room. There is also no mobile signal. The location is superb and the todra gorge absolutely extraordinary

This a beautiful retreat in the heart of Todra Gorge. It is unique because it is separate from all the other hotels. The food is excellent. Abdul and Youssef are wonderful. This is a place to disconnect from electronics, unwind, and enjoy a sky full of stars at night.

This is the ONLY place you should think of staying at in Todra Gorge! We were there 2 nights and enjoyed the beautiful hotel with the most breathtaking views, incredibly friendly and professional staff and wonderful food. Highly recommend it and wish we could have stayed longer

We loved staying here. Driving through Todra Gorge and then staying In a remote part of the gorge, away from other hotels, was delightful. The stone buildings had great character. We had a delicious and inexpensive 4 course dinner (with wine available) and a hearty breakfast. The room was small but comfortable and we had a balcony looking down the valley. A very peaceful place, surrounded by gardens and nature. The ‘pool’ was tiny but we were not planning to use it, so that was not a problem. Driving back through the gorge in the morning before crowds of people arrived was perfect. Definitely recommend this place!

Unique hotel in an isolated area. You’ll never see anywhere like this. A local family started it with one Bedouin tent to cater for hikers and climbers. It’s since expanded in to a wonderful collection of buildings and caves - all unique and all a wonderful place to stay. Staff very friendly. Good food and when we stayed, they entertained us all with traditional Bedouin music. A real one-off place whose owners have worked hard to create. A wonderful, memorable experience. Would encourage you to go.

Fabulous location on the side of Todra Gorge, but away from other accommodations. Cave rooms are great, quirky and nice and cool. Great food (including vegetarian option) and the staff here are fantastic - one of us needed to visit the hospital during the night and the owner drove us to Tinerhir . Would definitely recommend

You basically sleep in a rock formation in the middle of the mountains. You will be served delicious breakfast and dinner, everything is freshly prepared. The absolute highlight is the dinner: you will have a candle light dinner - only candles in the whole room. After food is served to all guests the hotel crew starts with entertainment: drums, singing and dancing. They are absolutely amazing and you can feel their passion about their culture. The hotel staff, all young locals, run this amazing place together - the hospitality is fantastic.

This is a stunning spot we never would have found on our own (we were booked here as part of our tour with Erg Chigaga Luxury Camp Nick and Bobo's). The canyons are kind of surreal, and beautiful at sunrise and sunset. The staff was great. A few of them are drummers and they played for us (and tried to teach us how to drum - which was hilarious). The food was great. The rooms are very cool, but I'd recommend bringing flashlights because they get a little dark.
