I needed to get a hotel in Tirana at very short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. I walked into the Plaza without a prior reservation. The front desk person, Sara, was extremely helpful. When she heard of the reason for our stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel itself is quite great, the best in Albania by far. Large rooms, stylish architecture and design, with all the amenities you need. Very helpful staff. The location is also great, right next to the main city square, and next door to a shopping center and a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes. The hotel has also free parking in the basement so you can reach your car without stepping outside if you don't want to use the valet service. A week later, I returned to Tirana for a second stay and I didn't even bother to consider other hotels, went straight to the Plaza. Sara happened to be working again at the front desk and yet again she made sure to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. The Plaza is not the cheapest hotel and could be seen as pricy by Albanian standards. But in terms of value, it's an extremely good deal. And you get the level of service you would expect from a 5* hotel. A lot of hotels in Albania have the right amenities but not the polished service or the seamless experience that you find at the Plaza.

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel with excellent staff. We stayed here for 9 days and from the moment we entered the hotel , we knew this would be an excellent stay at a five star hotel. The room was very spacious and maintained to a very high standard . The ladies that cleaned the room were very good. We had breakfast every morning and the waiters / waitress and chefs were so welcoming and so friendly . The food was excellent. The biggest asset for this hotel are the staff . A special mention to Romina, Keiti and Frida at the front desk . Such polite and wonderful women. They always had time to chat to guests and they were all so helpful. I’m sure they will all be promoted very soon, they deserve it. I used the gym every day and Ena was in charge . Once again a wonderful ,friendly woman who is a great asset to the hotel. I will definitely recommend the MAK Albania.

I had booked a single room for 2 nights with last minute.com. When I arrived they could not find it. Ok, not the hotel fault if the provider did not send it. But the receptionist was very rude. She kept saying ”you have to pay or you cannot have the room”. I tried to explain that I had already paid and we should try to solve the issue but she only seem interested in getting rid of me. Luckily I was able to get quickly in touch with last minute, they contacted their provider that re-sent the reservation with the payment. I went back to the front desk and told them that they should receive shortly my reservation but once again she kept telling me ”you have no reservation”. I calmly explained that it would probably take a couple of minutes. I sat down and 2' later the other girl at the reception (definitely more accomodating but she clearly was not the one in charge...). brought me the room key and apologized. The rudness was unacceptable as it wasn't either mine or their fault but being a host they should know how to treat customers who keep their business running. The hotel itself is ok, old but well kept and in a convenient location. The room was clean, vert big shower, comfy beds. No complaints there.

At the reception as said in all reviews you have to leave 100 euros of capra and 8 euros per person per day for taxes ...e even if I said and showed that on the booking site there was written 1.70 per person he doesn't care!! So it would be the case that the site itself updates because it is a joke!!! I had to add EUR 32 to my booking so there was not all this convenience! The hotel is well and clean, but the rooms are small coats and broken boxes are not just 4 stars!! There is no very low breakfast includes neither coffee nor tea nor cappuccino but only cold milk and ace juice! Dinner if you have a full pension is not even included water, no food you can choose or that or that the card menu is not included in the full pension . absurd!!! Then at the end you don't eat badly, but it's really little to stay with hunger!! I never seen such a thing!!! Thanks to your dreams!!

The restaurant has a big terrace with a splendid view on the towns mainsquare..The rooms are rather basic and dated. Book a room on the squareside. On the other side they built a highrise just opposite so you have no view staying at that side.

Had a really lovely stay here. Location is perfect. Five minutes walk from the airport bus stop and Skanderbeg Square. Lots of pavement cafes nearby. Safe area. Friendly staff. Shaban so helpful. Breakfast continental style but more than enough. If the coffee is too strong dilute with boiled water (kettle accesible) and then the coffee is perfect. The windows are small, the fridge in the room can't really be used. But with shops nearby is no problem. If you book here you really won't regret it. Amazing value for money. I will definitely return. Thank you Hotel Jolly for your Albanian hospitality and a lovely stay.

I stayed here for a few nights at the start and end of a group trip. It’s a fantastic hotel in a great location close to all the main sights/restaurants/bars and shops. It’s very clean with decent sized, well equipped rooms. The breakfast room is quite small but people don’t tend to hang around for too long so it’s always possible to get a seat. The staff are very friendly and helpful - particularly Freddy himself and Julien. Julien was extremely helpful when we first arrived, helping to carry our luggage upstairs and giving us directions to some of the restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Tirana.

Stayed at this hotel last week. The staff of the hotel are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They helped me find a place to eat, shop, etc. The hotel is located near good restaurants and shopping. The rooms are better than advertised and they gave me all my requests (extra pillows and towels). The bed was extremely comfortable. I stayed in the Deluxe Suite and the spa tub worked perfectly. I would stay here again if I visit Tirana.

Stayed here 3 nights. A nice stay overall. My room on 3rd floor not the biggest but clean and modern. Some minor traffic noise at night but wore earplugs anyway and slept OK. Fellow guests were generally over 35 years old and considerate. No noisy youngsters here. Staff helpful and efficient. Wake up call received on time. There is no gym at this hotel, contrary to some info online. Breakfast is fine for a short stay, might get bored with the options if staying longer. Very good service at breakfast from young lady waitress and two young waiters - it's mainly buffet but they will get you anything you need. Hotel is easily in walking distance to main sights in the centre for reasonably fit guests. I went on the free walking tour at 10am from outside Opera House on Skanderberg Square, and walked back to the hotel too, not too much effort. Bear in mind the Summer heat though, it will probably be 32c minimum until Sept. Asked hotel to book taxi from airport as arrived at midnight. They did this, though the police were at the airport moving taxi drivers holding names up away from the arrivals hall exit for some reason, maybe congestion, so mine had to call me to meet near the KFC sign nearby. Switch your phone on, just in case. Anyway I got to the hotel safely. The hotel pays the driver, you pay the 20 euros fare on check out. No need to watch the meter!

My sister and I started for a few nights, it was a lovely stay, the location was great with lots of bars/restaurants/shops,... nearby. The host was so lovely, we also booked a taxi through the lady for pick ups, it was perfect. The remote didn't work but we didn't watch any TV and the water came out when having a shower. We also got breakfast which was fantastic, it was different day by day (flatbread with cottage cheese, olives, tomatoes, ham and cheese toastie with fried egg on top, avocado toast with cheese, tomato and olives on it. We also got fruits, cereal, juice, coffee and fresh bread) I would definitely stay again

Excellent structure, located in a very strategic and smart area. You sleep very well, perhaps the rooms could have an extra cabinet or table, but the soft choice isn't bad. Very technological and beautiful bathroom, the large shower was also very appreciated, finally a place where you can really adjust the air conditioning in an ergonomic and effective way. Very helpful staff, perhaps only the breakfast could be improved: it is held on the roof and on a scenographic level it is captivating, too bad it is not rich and that coffee at a surcharge of one euro is very out of place. The parking under the hotel is excellent, considering that there are continuous fines on the outside

The hotel is not very big and the location is good, but the hotel staff were so enthusiastic that we were all embarrassed. They took the initiative to help with our luggage. Seeing that our car was sloppy, they took the initiative to help us wash the car and wiped it very carefully. Let us feel sorry for it. It's a bit of a feeling of ”brother 👬”. No matter where you ask for directions, Albanians are very enthusiastic. I don't know if they treat tourists from other countries in the same way. The hotel has free parking. The breakfast is the most memorable breakfast in all countries and domestic hotels. It is not how rich and high-end it is, but every time the food surprises us, we are not eating breakfast, we are simply appreciating each Pieces of art. marvelous! I don’t know how many likes to give them to express our feelings.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was sooooo friendly. They kindly did some laundry for me (5 euro surcharge ) The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. I recommend letting the front desk know if you want breakfast, I didn't realize I had to do this, but they still accommodated me last minute which I appreciated so much. Breakfast is not included in price. Cute cafe on the lower level and great location! I hope I can visit again someday.

The hotel is not bad, very comfortable beds. The only thing that happened to me was that one morning when my mother was out of the room that had gone to take breakfast, I was staying under the covers (i was almost hidden because I was covered up) at a certain sense the door opened and I I was waking up thinking it was my mother, but not, it was a cleaner woman who didn't see me she started opening all our bags and all the little thing of our property then I made it note and she went out without saying and taking anything, To not talk about when they have to do something they always want the room free. Prices of the refrigerator very high only because we were Italians (1.50€ a bottle of 100cc water when you take two bottles of 2 litres in any shop in Albania with 1.50€.

I needed to get a hotel in Tirana at very short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. I walked into the Plaza without a prior reservation. The front desk person, Sara, was extremely helpful. When she heard of the reason for our stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel itself is quite great, the best in Albania by far. Large rooms, stylish architecture and design, with all the amenities you need. Very helpful staff. The location is also great, right next to the main city square, and next door to a shopping center and a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes. The hotel has also free parking in the basement so you can reach your car without stepping outside if you don't want to use the valet service. A week later, I returned to Tirana for a second stay and I didn't even bother to consider other hotels, went straight to the Plaza. Sara happened to be working again at the front desk and yet again she made sure to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. The Plaza is not the cheapest hotel and could be seen as pricy by Albanian standards. But in terms of value, it's an extremely good deal. And you get the level of service you would expect from a 5* hotel. A lot of hotels in Albania have the right amenities but not the polished service or the seamless experience that you find at the Plaza.

I stayed here for a few nights at the start and end of a group trip. It’s a fantastic hotel in a great location close to all the main sights/restaurants/bars and shops. It’s very clean with decent sized, well equipped rooms. The breakfast room is quite small but people don’t tend to hang around for too long so it’s always possible to get a seat. The staff are very friendly and helpful - particularly Freddy himself and Julien. Julien was extremely helpful when we first arrived, helping to carry our luggage upstairs and giving us directions to some of the restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Tirana.

We spent 3 nights here in a room on the third floor. There are no lifts but this was not a problem for us. We liked the modern feel of our room and the bathroom was a decent size. The location was great for exploring Tirana on foot and close to the local buses too. It felt like the hotel was in a party neighbourhood as there was loud music playing each night when we were there, which we liked. There are lots of nearby bars and restaurants. For breakfast, we had a choice from a menu, which was handy as you could pick what you wanted without excess food wastage. The highlight were the staff. All the reception staff spoke exceptionally good English and were extremely helpful. The hotel manager, Grinda, was super helpful. We would stay here again.

I had booked a single room for 2 nights with last minute.com. When I arrived they could not find it. Ok, not the hotel fault if the provider did not send it. But the receptionist was very rude. She kept saying ”you have to pay or you cannot have the room”. I tried to explain that I had already paid and we should try to solve the issue but she only seem interested in getting rid of me. Luckily I was able to get quickly in touch with last minute, they contacted their provider that re-sent the reservation with the payment. I went back to the front desk and told them that they should receive shortly my reservation but once again she kept telling me ”you have no reservation”. I calmly explained that it would probably take a couple of minutes. I sat down and 2' later the other girl at the reception (definitely more accomodating but she clearly was not the one in charge...). brought me the room key and apologized. The rudness was unacceptable as it wasn't either mine or their fault but being a host they should know how to treat customers who keep their business running. The hotel itself is ok, old but well kept and in a convenient location. The room was clean, vert big shower, comfy beds. No complaints there.

A few general statements about your stay: - when deciding on a room without a sea view, you have to be aware that the view may differ from the pictures (I recommend taking a room with a sea view :)) - there is a swimming pool and a disco on the roof of the building, which results in quite a lot of noise in the evenings and at night on the upper floors of the building (you can change the room if it is a nuisance for someone) - there is only one all inclusive bar (a bit small for such a large facility) - the use of the swimming pool and bar on the roof, the bar on the pier is paid extra I am satisfied with the quality of the rooms at Klajdi Resort. Spacious and well-decorated rooms ensure a comfortable stay. The decor is modern and pleasing to the eye and the beds are comfortable. In addition, the rooms are well soundproofed, which contributes to a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Klajdi Resort's staff is courteous and helpful. Both receptionists and cleaning staff are always ready to answer questions and fulfill any guest requests. Only the pool bar and pool staff could be more smiling and helpful. Cleanliness at the Klajdi Resort hotel is maintained at a very high level. The rooms are cleaned regularly and thoroughly vacuumed. Sheets and towels are fresh and fragrant. In general, the entire hotel is clean and well-kept, which positively affects the comfort and hygiene of your stay. Location of the hotel Klajdi Resort is located directly on a free private beach, separated only by a promenade. The quality of the accommodation at the Klajdi Resort hotel is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the bathrooms are modern and functional. Regardless of the type of stay, I will find here everything I need to have a good rest and regenerate my strength. The value offered by Klajdi Resort Hotel is undoubtedly very good. I have visited many countries, and in hotels of all kinds, and at some point I have had to ask for ”late checkout” or what is the same ”late checkout” because my flight back home leaves very late that day. In this case I paid almost €600 for practically 2 nights, it was 3 nights, but the first night I arrived at the airport at 2 in the morning, that is, practically 2 nights, when in Albania hotels are very cheap, but I preferred to grab a Known chain just in case, AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A LATE CHECKOUT OF 2h because my flight left at 18:50 in the afternoon, THEY TOLD ME NOOOO, when the hotel was newly opened and was practically empty!!!!!!!! I THINK IT WAS VERY VERY BAD, I HAD TO BE WALKING AROUND TIRANA AND EAT SUPER LATE, TO BE ABLE TO MAKE TIME UNTIL 4:00 PM when I went to the airport. I THINK I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL? NO!!!!, I THINK OF GOING BACK??? NO!!!!, not only because of this, but because it is far from the center, the hotel's Terra restaurant is very expensive, and look, almost nothing surprises me, but the difference in prices compared to the rest of the city surprised me very much. We ordered some mini Iberian pork chops and an Angus rib and 2 waters to eat, and they charged us €135, when in the ERA restaurant, which is 50 meters from the hotel, TripAdvisor recommends it, and it cost us an exquisite risotto, and 2 Angus T-bone steaks of 1,200 grams with a garnish of mushrooms and vegetables, plus bread, plus 2 waters, plus a Pepsi max, EYE €53, crazy!!!! And everything was very good, so the prices of the hotel are not justified. Is the hotel nice? Yes!!!, is it comfortable??? Yes!!!, it is practically new, it was opened recently, but that does not give the right to be charged 5 times more for eating in its facilities, it is 1 and a half km or more from Skanderbeg square and everything there is What to visit in the capital of Albania. We were two nights in Pandora and felt well. The beds are soft, we found them very good. The bathroom has a marble chic. The nice receptionist was very helpful. He described the nearest stop from which to reach the centre in 10 minutes (for €0.4). We picked up at the baker just next to Croissants and Berek, he gave us dishes and coffee. Very nice. We also let wash clothes, which was very priced and quickly done. The area around the hotel is a little poor but harmless. We would book there immediately.
