Cucu Hotel El Cuyo

We, a large family consisting of 5 adults and 4 children aged 3-11 years, were looking for a lovely place to spend Christmas and New Year. In a jungle of destinations and hotels, we got a tip about El Cuyo and Cucu. What a stroke of luck :) We stayed for two weeks and absolutely loved every minute! Cucu has really succeeded in creating that feeling which is hard to put into words, but which makes you feel welcome and completely relaxed. Rocio, Maurico and Milton with family and team are fantastic and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The breakfast is wonderful, lovely rooms, the beach is dreamy, all the people welcoming and the restaurant offer at El Cuyo is really beyond expectation. El Cuyo is a small place that is above all reflected by a quiet existence, we mainly spent the days swimming, water sports, beach soccer, long walks and used to jump on the hotel bikes around lunch or dinner and pedal along the sandy streets for a lovely dinner inside the village or for a lunch at Naia Cafe. Some of us got sick during the trip and received great help from the hotel in contacting a doctor for medical care. Cucu is a hidden gem without all the commerce and as long away from "mass toursim" you can come, it feels "real" and above all the people behind it are lovely and in exactly the right place. Ideally, I'd like to keep Cucu and El Cuyo as our secret, our hidden gem, but at the same time, it's too good not to share. Go there and enjoy! Kalle with family

Very nicely designed hotel and rooms in a lovely beach town. Small but adequate pool and beach is over the road. Great stay

The cucu hotel offers a very nice experience. The suites are very big. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good. The hotel is not on the beach side but there is a short path just across the road to access the beautiful beach of El Cuyo. Our host Lio helped us with our questions and went above and beyond with a special request that we had. We will certainly return.

We stay by Cucu hotel and it was so nice. Beautiful people, big clean room (family room), choice of breakfast everyday different delivered to our room, so practical, 3 minutes walk from beach. Everything runs perfect 🤩. Thank you so much 🫶
