GGuest UserVery nice and welcoming owner. Good way very good and hotel a 3 star ryokan with private onsen, which we used alone in the evening. Cafes and nice shrine very short by. Also don’t miss the museum and story of the pearl diver women in that village! If you look for a small village at the coast, it is very natural and less touristic there!

GGuest UserDon't expect too much from the women's bath, but I was able to use it all to myself. The men's bath is apparently larger than the women's. The meals were extravagant and everything was delicious, so much so that I couldn't eat any rice. I was happy that the final dessert was ice cream. The room was clean, and the staff, including the shuttle service, were very pleasant.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English. The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel in Toba. I was lucky to be there when the weather was bright but the hotel empty so I spent a lot of time in the huge Onsen all by myself. Only thing for me as a foreigner, I had no possibility to contact the hotel beforehand for a pick up shuttle so just make sure you find a way early to reach out :)
