Comfort Hotel Tokyo Higashi Kanda

Great hotel in a quieter area of Tokyo. The popular Akihabara neighbourhood is within walking distance. Check-in process was easy and staff were helpful. Room was clean, quiet and nice. It had air conditioning, a mini fridge and a nice bathroom. The hotel has a laundry area with washing machines and dryers. No laundry detergent needed as the machine automatically dispenses it. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I recommend going to the breakfast area on the earlier side as it gets very busy from 8-9:30. Convenience stores, cafes, and a grocery store are all nearby, along with 3 train/subway stations that allow you to easily get around Tokyo. We used Bakuroyokoyama and Iwamotocho stations to access the Toei subway and Barocho station to access the JR train.

Comfort Hotel Tokyo Higashi Nihombashi

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi/Akihabara/Kinshicho
Although breakfast is free, the ingredients are very good, broccoli, blueberries, etc. are served almost every day, and soup containing mushrooms of water-soluble dietary fiber, I also liked Japanese avocado and chicken. Carrots and seafood carpaccio were also delicious. I think it's included in the room rate, but it was a very healthy breakfast compared to the Richmond I used to use so far. As for the room, it's a business hotel, so can't it be helped? If you dare to say it, I would like you to light up the corridor and the elevator hall on the first floor every morning. The staff were also polite and nothing happened during my stay. If you have a large suitcase, it is easier to get to the hotel by using the elevator that is only on the Asakusa Line side of the metropolitan government. There is only a long staircase at the 4 exit next to the hotel, so it is difficult to go up the stairs with luggage. On rainy days, it is better to walk underground to the hotel. It was a terminal station that was easy to use because there was a 2 station on the JR Sobu Line to Tokyo Station and a 2 line on the Asakusa Line to Narita Airport.
Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kiyosumi Shirakawa

I stayed here from December 13-17 of 2019 and I did not encounter any problem at all. Front Desk no matter what time of day or night are always very courteous and accommodating and helpful. The housekeepers are VERY KIND in that they LEAVE A FRESH supply of towels, bathrobe etc bundled in a plastic bag every day since I had the “do not disturb” sign those 4 nights! Breakfast menu is awesome! Train station and Family Mart are right outside the hotel and if you walk a block or two there’s a ramen place, 7-11, a grocery and drugstore, as well. Very convenient location!
Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kanda

I find myself here pretty often, mainy because of my Choice Rewards loyalty but I'm glad it's a nicely functional property to stay at! Rooms are modern and well-appointed and while the size of a typical Japanese business hotel (aka smaller than regular Comfort Inns you might find in most other locations), it felt more spacious than competing APA Hotel properties. Breakfast is available for all guests but you will have to obtain a breakfast ticket for a set time to help alleviate crowding. In the afternoon and evening there's a free coffee machine for guests to use which was a nice touch as I was able to refill while working remotely in the lobby/breakfast space. My most recent stay found me in the 2nd floor which was the same as coin laundry and vending machines so that was convenient in that regard as well. Location-wise, Iwamotocho Station (Toei's Shinjuku Line), Kanda Station (Yamanote/Keihin-Tohoku/Chuo Rapid JR Lines + Tokyo Metro's Ginza Line) and Kemmacho Station (Tokyo Metro's Hibiya Line) as well as Akihabara itself are within walking distance. That said, there is a single elevator for all guests so there will be a bit of bottlenecking especially during the mornings so do please plan accordingly!
