Great, well managed hotel in the Ebisu district of Tokyo. I was here for three nights before flying home. As mentioned turn right after you exit the JR train station and walk all the way down through the tunnel to the hotel. I really like the the outdoor mall at the Yebisu Garden Place with it’s unbelievable food court. This place should win an award for a urban outdoor development with book stores, coffee bars , high end restaurants, hotel and train station. If I’m traveling with my wife I would stay here. If I m traveling with my teenage kids I would stay at the Hyatt in Shinjuku as it is closer to the action. I loved the 17th floor executive lounge for afternoon snacks and drinks . But I preferred the lobby lounge for breakfast as it had a better selection of items. I would not however pay $130 extra for the lounge. The rooms were very nice . I was so impressed with how clean the rooms and lobby were maintained. This is a world class hotel in the upper price range.

There are many positive things to say about this hotel, the space is huge for a Tokyo hotel, very clean, and the location is more than excellent. However, am extremely disappointed and displeased by the service that was provided by a female Caucasian staff member of the team. Of our 7 days of stay here, we have only tried to make a single request, which was to make a restaurant reservation on the 21/5 in Hokkaido as I could not read or speak Japanese so I require assistance from the team. She initially wanted to dismiss me as soon as possible until a Japanese colleague came to assist us. Provided us with a restaurant reservation form and we filled it. Thereafter, she said she cannot reserve for us because the date of reservation is after the date that we are staying at. Firstly, this is such a simple request and I only made it because I’m unable to do so myself due to the language barrier. Secondly, I was appalled by her laziness and attitude when conversing with us. I have never encountered such horrible service by a hotel concierge in my life before, many others would be glad and happy to assist with such a simple request.

There have been some twists and turns in booking this hotel from the beginning. In fact, as long as the booking situation is not smooth, try not to book a hotel. Even if you succeed, you will be like me. This hotel is not suitable for high-end tourists from ************** who love fitness and are easy-going. . The gym has various difficulties for hotel guests. First, they have to fill out an application form (very strange). The gym is shared with the office building and is not exclusive to hotel guests. Sneakers that are brought in from outside are not allowed. If you want to rent, you will not be charged cash, and there is no Alipay or WeChat payment! I received a Visa and some incomprehensible payment methods, but in the end I didn’t succeed in fitness. We checked in after 5:00, but we were told that the museum tour the next day would only accept guests who made reservations before 5:00. We were clearly told that we were not eligible to visit the museum if we missed that time. We only had 2 nights here so no accommodations. Breakfast was average! The Japanese-style breakfast requires a waiter to serve rice, soup, fry fish, etc. It is very inconvenient. The aroma on the floor is very strange and I’m not used to it! Not cost-effective! There is also an indescribable feeling of not being taken seriously!

Hotel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the JR and the famous Shibuya Scramble, and about 4 minutes from the nearest exit / entrance to the subway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the in house restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area as well. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it if you want a bit of luxury while in Japan.

The washbasin is very small, and the water can be sprinkled all over the floor after washing your face When leaving the store, I need to store my luggage. After checking out the room card, I found out that the locker needs to be used when I live in it. When I asked the front desk, the first reaction was that I could not use it after checking out, which is outrageous. Later, I talked to the front desk and asked me to store it in their office after staying for four or five days.

I would give this hotel 2.75 stars if I could. Check-in process was super complicated. Their bed configurations on third party websites are all wrong. Manager was no where to be found when needed but would relay messages through the front desk. All of a sudden is ”gone for an hour” when I asked to speak. Rooms are just ok. We asked for the room to get vacuumed multiple times during our week stay because there was a glob of hair on the carpet. It just made me feel like the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Pros - free coffee downstairs, free amenities, washer (to ONLY wash), separate toilet from shower, right next to Shibuya scramble and several subways/JR line, right above Family Mart, walking distance. Cons - carpet, staff not accommodating, Hotels.com, Expedia bed configurations are all wrong. Beware and be careful of this! They will NOT accommodate you based on the 3rd party website details being incorrect.

I stayed at the beginning of the same month, but I have amnesia, and I don't leave much impression. . . The impression of a hotel that entered the miscellaneous building. It is near Meguro station, so it is convenient to do something. I think the elements necessary for Vijiho are almost complete, and it is functional and not particularly troublesome. I expected that the retort curry placed at the front desk was able to be received by the reservation site cherry blossoms posting, but if I thought well, I couldn't post it if I didn't check out I would like to have a meeting.

Me and my boyfriend shared a superior single room at this hotel in June 2019, it was small (as you would expect from a Japanese hotel room) but with 2 big cases I was actually really pleasantly surprised with the space, neither of us felt suffocated. We were there during all the crazy construction, and we barely found it to be an issue at all. No noise, and little inconvenience. The hotel is surprisingly easy to find, and im terrible with instructions! The location is 100% the best part of this hotel. It was a piece of cake getting around Tokyo, easy access to Shinjuku/harajuku/akihabara, (odaiba is a little out the way, but not too difficult!). Lawson across the street, lots of restaurants, really close walking distance to Shibuya crossing and all its shops. Prior to arrival, I had my cases shipped from Tokyo disney resort to this hotel, and one of them was missing. The service regarding this was great, the check in desk rang up the delivery service for me (Yamato?) and figured out the situation. Within a an hour or two, I got a call to my room and they informed me that the luggage had been sent to the wrong area, but they were now delivering it to mets. What a relief! Do not worry about any language barriers, the staff are great. Another great thing about this hotel is the free smartphone they allow you to take out around the city with you! Having this was incredibly helpful for google maps etc. Cannot fault our stay at all, and I would stay again during my next trip.

The rooms are like on the photos, not very large. It is a little tight for 2 people, but to do well. The bathroom has a small and deep bath, where you can do well in and a small toilet. staff were very diverse. Our reception was warm and friendly, but the man who was there when we left wasn't all. We had met with the staff earlier that week to leave our luggage overnight. When we came to pick it up, we became very unfriendly The hotel is very good in terms of location and price ratio. All is expensive in Tokyo.

This time, I decided to stay overnight in Tokyo. When I went to the elevator to go to the room after the check-in was completed, I was surprised that there were many amenities for free. It was very helpful because there were lotions and emulsions. I stayed in a deluxe twin room this time, but I was surprised again that the room was large and equipped with a microwave. We were looking for a close to the action hotel as this was our first time in Shibuya and did not know this part of Tokyo. The service from the Granbell team was accommodating. We had to do a room change, and they were understanding, as well as a late night bed refresh as we were surprised with a stain on the mattress/sheets. The front desk agent who helped with the bed refresh was so nice, and apologetic of the situation. The rooms are out-dated and could use some touchups(scratches on the floors/walls, dust on the fans, etc.). We stayed in the ”suite” top floor(1303) and it still needed some TLC. The rooms provided nice toiletries. We did not eat at the second floor restaurant(wagyu teppanyaki) or the first floor restaurant, but both looked fairly good even for foodies. Location is really great, close to scramble, other restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is on the more quiet side of the crossing and Im glad we stayed over here(would recommend this neighborhood again). The super close yakatori's aren't great and may tell no to foreigners. I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers, stag/hen parties or young couples who are looking truly just for a place to crash after a long day sight seeing/going out.
