Ano Hotel Asakusa

Clean and new, and very quiet since there are no trams nearby. My room's window blinds didn't let in much sunlight when opened. They were generous with the toiletries, and there was bottled water. The front desk staff spoke Chinese.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The overall service quality of the hotel was excellent, and the staff were warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were both very efficient. The front desk offered Chinese-speaking service, so communication was seamless, whether I was asking about transportation, nearby attractions, or other needs. The room had a direct view of the Tokyo Skytree as soon as you opened the door.

The hotel is about a 5-6 minute walk from Asakusa Station, and you can see the Skytree from the window – the view is simply amazing. There's a 7-Eleven near the subway station, which is convenient for grabbing breakfast, and the area is very quiet at night. However, the bathroom is tiny. There's no bathtub, and it's a tight squeeze just to brush your teeth, shower, or wash your face; even turning around is a hassle. The washer and dryer are on the 1st floor, and it costs about 700-800 yen per wash and dry cycle. You also have to pay extra for laundry detergent at the front desk. As for cleaning services, you can inform the front desk in the morning. The cleaning staff, who also speak Chinese, are very friendly and will proactively ask what items you need replenished.

This hotel perfectly embodies the saying, 'though small, it has all the vital organs.' It's located in a relatively quiet neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple. The front desk staff can speak Chinese, and you can even see the Tokyo Skytree from the top floor!
