Section L Tsukiji

This guesthouse is excellent, clean and comfortable, perfect for families with kids. The sleeping arrangements are spacious, and being able to do laundry is such a bonus – that's what makes a trip truly enjoyable! Since fresh vegetables are a bit scarce in Japan, it was great to be able to buy some at the supermarket and prepare them ourselves. Public transport, both buses and the subway, is very convenient nearby. Tsukiji Market is right downstairs with tons of delicious seafood and sashimi. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Had a fantastic trip! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room was spotless and well-equipped with kitchenware. I especially loved the washing machine with its dryer function – clothes came out almost dry! The nearby Tsukiji Market had amazing, affordable seafood. It was just perfect.

The location is quite good, right next to Tsukiji Market, and it's only about a 15-minute walk to Ginza. The advantage of an apartment-style hotel is that the rooms are fully equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, microwave, and kitchen utensils. The hotel staff can communicate in both English and Japanese and are very friendly. Remember to fill out your check-in information online before arrival, which will make the check-in process much faster.

This was my first time traveling to Tokyo just with my kids, so I was incredibly nervous. I spent a lot of time worrying about accommodation before the trip, but in the end, I was extremely satisfied. I don't usually use large public baths, so the absence of one wasn't an issue at all. In fact, the bathroom had a narrow, deep Japanese-style tub, so I filled it with water almost every day for a half-bath, which I actually preferred. Plus, there was a washing machine, so I could do laundry daily and always have fresh, dry clothes to wear. Room cleaning for my specific room cost 8,000 yen, so I opted to just use lint rollers every morning and evening, wiped the floor with the disposable towels I brought, and replaced the sink strainer with new ones I got. There were trash cans near the elevator on the first floor, so it was easy to dispose of sorted trash from my room periodically. (You can borrow a vacuum cleaner from reception on the first floor if you ask.) 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 The most memorable and best part of this accommodation was that the staff were almost always present and greeted us brightly every time we left or returned. It felt like coming home after playing, not to an empty house, but to a cheerful welcome from a younger sibling! Haha. On the last day, after check-out, we asked them to book a taxi for us, and they were so kind. They came all the way out to help us communicate with the taxi driver and waved goodbye until our taxi drove off!! My child was so touched by that, saying they were the kindest people among all the hotels we've ever stayed at, and even mentioned wanting to become a hotelier later on.🩷 (This trip was to celebrate my eldest finishing an important exam, and they didn't forget the note I left, even giving us a handwritten letter and matcha chocolates as a gift! We had completely forgotten about it, so we were surprised and touched by their thoughtfulness! 😍) I'm terrible at Japanese and not very good at English, so this trip to Tokyo was a bit sudden, but thanks to the accommodation, I was able to end the trip with good memories until the very last moment. I can't believe how spacious this room is for Tokyo, where space is a premium! It's a whopping 50 square meters. The apartment hotel is super convenient, and the room's facilities are incredibly new and well-equipped. The bedding is so comfortable! Plus, there's a filter for direct drinking water in the room. The location is great too, very close to Tsukiji Market!

The hotel is more like an apartment, with a stove, fridge, microwave, and washing machine. It's perfect for families who like to be self-sufficient. You take off your shoes before entering, so it's quite clean. I think you need to tell the front desk if you want room cleaning, otherwise, no one will disturb you. The room size is great for three people, and there's a large table that can hold a lot of stuff, also good for dining together. Tsukiji Market is right outside, very lively. Ginza is just a short walk away, and Mitsukoshi is even closer.

We were a group of six, three adults and three children, and the apartment was spacious enough for all of us. It had one toilet and one shower room, which was perfectly adequate for our needs. The location was fantastic – right downstairs was Tsukiji Market, offering a huge variety of delicious food from morning till afternoon. We could also walk to Ginza in under 15 minutes.
