I booked a male-only floor, but it turned out to be mixed-gender. The hygiene was excellent, and the location was pretty good. The only slight drawback was that the showers weren't on the same floor, and they didn't provide free disposable slippers or toothbrushes. Other than that, there were no real issues, and it offered good value for money. It's located in a residential area, so it's a bit of a walk from the station. The picture is of the hostel's rooftop – no balcony, but you can see the Skytree from the external stairs. Downstairs, there are washing machines, manga, and paid coffee available, which is nice.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff at check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also made sure to accommodate my specific room request without any hassle. I highly recommend this property for a smooth and comfortable stay.

The hotel is cheap but I think it doesn’t deserve over 8/10 on the page. 1: attitudes. I have no idea why the front desk always showing a ********* and be impatient when ppl asking for helps. Some of them are nice but some are just ********. Being a hostel staff should have basic English conversation skills that helps to service foreigners, however they do not and also being impolite usually. **** this Japan hostel. 2: Environment You have to go down to G/floor for showering that brings the inconvenience for ppl living in 3-5/f.The walls in my room is dirty with god damn bloodstains. 犬の糞ホステル now u know what I mean.

I had a great stay at Hotel TORA Asakusa during my trip to Tokyo. The location is fantastic, situated in a quiet area while still being within walking distance of Asakusa’s main attractions, including Senso-ji Temple and the lively shopping streets nearby. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The space was efficiently designed, which is especially appreciated in Tokyo. The bed was comfortable, and the room provided a relaxing environment after a busy day of sightseeing. One of the highlights was the convenience of nearby train stations, making it easy to explore other parts of Tokyo. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores within a short walk. Overall, Hotel TORA Asakusa offers excellent value for money, combining a great location, cleanliness, and comfort. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I found the experience to be really good. It's just a typical, small Japanese-style hostel, but there were a lot of Westerners, and I thought the atmosphere was great. The only minor inconvenience was the showering situation, but other than that, everything was fine.

My stay at Tora Hotel was good overall. The hotel was clean and well maintained, which I appreciated. However, the layout was a bit unusual—you need to take an escalator at the back of the building to reach the rooms, which can be slightly confusing at first. The room setup is also quite compact, with many bunk beds placed close together, leaving limited space to move around. Another downside is that the beds are made of metal, so they can be quite noisy. Movements from others sometimes created sounds that disturbed my sleep.

they dont have free flow coffee or tea like other dormy i have stayed, the bathroom is only at 1st floor, and the stair to upper bed is very steep and hurting the feet BUT they gave you 2 towels included, the lobby to lounging is very nice and they have big locker for each bed, thank you tora

Sim facility was good. It gives access to each and every place and it good for 24 hours layover in a city. It’s cheap too. Great to buy e sim for 1 day.

We are truly delighted with our stay at Tora Hotel Asakusa. We stayed here for two weeks and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The hotel staff is incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything you need. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and the atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. We were able to rest extremely well every night. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Tokyo!

The location is convenient and the accommodation is decent. My only complaint is that the locker being inside the room can be noisy.
