I recently stayed at BEE-HIVE Sugamo (Male only) for two nights and had a great experience overall. Upon arriving at Haneda Airport, I took the Keikyu Airport Line to Shinagawa Station and then transferred to the Yamanote Line, which brought me to Sugamo Station. From the North Exit, it was just a short 2-minute walk to the hotel. Check-in was self-service, and it was easy to navigate. My room was clean and came with a towel, toothbrush, and disposable slippers, which was a nice touch. However, I found the space quite compact—it’s difficult to move around inside the room, as it’s very cozy. Despite the limited space, the price was reasonable, and the services provided were good for the value. If I visit Japan again, I would consider staying here once more. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at BEE-HIVE Sugamo.

About the whole process of staying in this B&B This B&B is for men only and is a self-service B&B (no front desk, no staff, only staff who clean up in the morning). The room password is sent to the email. There are two cameras in the public area. I saw that someone else also put the box outside, so I also stored two large boxes under the table. But the next day, both boxes were lost. I contacted Ctrip immediately, and Ctrip was also more proactive in contacting the staff. But I didn't get in touch. Since I was in a hurry to go out, I left a message to Ctrip. Ctrip has been following up on this matter. But when I contacted the staff later that night, they said they didn't see the box and didn't know where it went. At this moment, I asked to check the surveillance to see if anyone took it away. But the B&B replied that there was no surveillance. So I took a picture of the surveillance to show them (because the staff had never seen it and communicated online). After seeing the surveillance, they said that it was inconvenient to see it involving privacy. I said why would it involve privacy in the public area? No response. I asked for a photo of the box, and then the next day, one of the boxes came back. At that time, I didn't realize that the password had been changed. I just put the box back in the room. Then I immediately told Ctrip that I had found a box and asked them to tell the B&B. After that, Ctrip called me and told me that the hotel found my suitcase in which room, but since I was not there, they wanted to keep it with them first and give it to me when they met me. I thought I was lucky at the time. But I really waited for them every day but never got it. So at about 10:30 in the morning on the 17th, I was getting ready to wash up. The man opposite happened to have returned to China, and the cleaning staff was there. I told her about the suitcase, but she was a little confused and took a picture of what I said on the translation screen. After searching for a while, she couldn't find it and said she would contact the leader to ask. I said I was going out and asked them to put it in the room. I also took a picture of the translation content and said it was OK. When I came back in the evening, I found that the suitcase was still gone. I knew something was wrong. So I contacted Ctrip immediately. Ctrip said that after contacting the staff, they said that the suitcase was put in the room at 10:37 local time. My God, I was still communicating with the cleaning lady at that time! She said she put it back? When I asked my roommates in the same room, they all said that no one brought the suitcase in! I also told Ctrip, and after they contacted them, they said that the staff didn't find the suitcase. . My God. . So what they said before, that they found the suitcase, and locked their staff's room because they were afraid of losing it again, is this already considered a lie? I felt insulted. When I asked them to check the surveillance again, they said that the surveillance was not turned on. . At this moment, I couldn't stand it anymore. But because I had to return to China the next morning, I had to go to Don Quixote at midnight to buy a suitcase. I also called the police on the way, but the police said that this could only be treated as lost. I was also speechless. I could have found out what I wanted to find out by checking the surveillance. However, the behavior of their staff really angered me, and I also sorted out a few questions to ask them. First The homestay said that it was only for men, but on the morning of November 13, two Southeast Asian-looking ladies walked into the room and each of them lay on a bed. They also had carry-on luggage and big suitcases. The lady opposite me was not surprised to see me and continued to lie down and look at her phone. I also reported this matter, and the homestay said it was the cleaning staff. But the funny thing is that the guests who checked in later said that there were female false eyelashes left on the pillow on the bed, which is absolutely true and can be verified. So I want to ask if the hotel cleaning staff can clean like this? Second Every time I said I wanted to check the surveillance, they had a new "discovery" and finally said that the box was found, so it was given to me. I didn't want to pursue responsibility because it is indeed risky to leave it in a public area, but since you said you found it, then give me the box. If you don't give it to me, I will say that you took my box. Third They were unwilling to talk to me directly throughout the whole process and were only willing to communicate through Ctrip. This is why you said that there is a language barrier, but they have staff who can speak Chinese. I really didn't see it from beginning to end. If Ctrip was not responsible enough. I really collapsed.

I have stayed in various guesthouses while traveling around Japan, but this is the first time I have ever stayed in such a ridiculous place. There is no staff, it is not cleaned, and there are countless outsiders coming and going. I would even tell someone I have a grudge against to stay here. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

First of all, the bed I was assigned was originally in the luggage storage area and didn't even have a light. And instead of a mattress, it was a thin rice cracker futon. The toilet didn't flush and the bathroom was dirty everywhere. The traveler who was staying there was nice. I stayed in the dormitory out of nostalgia, but it was a huge disappointment.
