Ekoda Station is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, with both Family Mart and Lawson convenience stores within a 4-minute walk. Nearby, guests can explore several dining options. The hotel does not offer room service; guests are responsible for disposing of their garbage in the designated area on the 1st floor. Laundry facilities are available on-site, with charges of 300 yen for 40 minutes of use, 100 yen for a 15-minute dryer cycle, and 100 yen for washing powder. While these amenities offer convenience, the costs are slightly higher compared to other Tokyo hotels. Towel exchanges are available for a fee. The staff are noted for their helpfulness, contributing to an overall satisfactory stay.
Response from Property: Thank you very much for choosing Flextay Inn Ekoda. Our hotel is located between Ekoda Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and Shin-Egota Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line, and can be reached on foot. There is a Lawson convenience store next door, Family Mart, 7-Eleven, supermarkets, and many stores and restaurants. The hotel does not provide cleaning service during your stay. If you would like us to clean your room, we will charge you an additional 3,000 yen.Towel change is free for reservations of up to 6 nights, but there is a charge for stays of 7 nights or more, but at a lower room rate.We look forward to seeing you again.Reception, FLEXSTAY INN Ekoda

Nice business hotel. It is not in the heart of Tokyo, but it is conveniently located close to the Ekoda station.
Rooms are on par with typical business hotels in Tokyo, i.e. not very large, but are comfortable.
Response from Property: Dear Customer,Thank you very much for staying with us this time.As you say, Ekoda has very convenient access to Shinjuku and Ikebukuro. In addition, please use by all means if there is an opportunity. We are looking forward to seeing you again.Thank you for using our service.Flexstay Inn Ekoda Reception

Environment: Overall, it is very close to Ekoda Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. It only takes about 10 minutes to get to Ikebukuro by train (there is even a Harry Potter train!). There are abundant living facilities nearby, including cheap karaoke, 100-yen shops, and various convenience stores. At the same time, because there is a university nearby, most restaurants are cheap and delicious.
Service: Don't force too much service at this price! There is no one at the front desk after 18:00, so pay attention to the time when checking in. If you stay for consecutive days, there is no cleaning service during your stay. If the garbage is full, you need to throw it away by yourself; it is more suitable for friends who don't want their living area to be disturbed!
Hygiene: Overall, it is small but complete, with hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, induction cookers, pots, etc. prepared. My room may have been blocked and vegetables will be spurted out as long as the sink is used because the previous person who stayed there cooked noodles... I hope the cleaning of these locations can be strengthened!
Finally: It is really cheap, and it is still available during the three consecutive holidays of the autumnal equinox

The room is clean, but you can see that everything is tired. It's fine for one person, but it would be cramped for two. The metro is nearby, the area is nice and quiet.

The reception staff was a beginner. Please be more confident and confident. As for cleaning, the bathtub had limescale that had turned to coal. The rubber gasket on the bathroom door was covered in black mold. As for deterioration over time, the kitchen door was rotten and the edge was chipped. There was a strange noise from the ventilation fan in the room.

Response from Property: Thank you very much for using our hotel. We would also like to thank you for taking the time to post your review despite your busy schedule. We deeply apologize for the many shortcomings in terms of facilities and customer service during your stay, which did not meet your expectations. We are very sorry. The room felt old overall, and the bathroom was too small to use.
You have to clean up your own trash, so it might be a bit of a hassle if you're staying multiple nights.
It was nice that it was close to the station and there was a convenience store next door.

Response from Property: Thank you very much for using our hotel. We would also like to thank you for sharing your honest feedback.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the facilities and system. We have received many comments regarding the size of the bathtub. Due to the structure, it is difficult to improve immediately, but we would like to use this as a reference for our future room design. Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.
We deeply appreciate your cooperation regarding the lack of cleaning during consecutive nights and the fact that guests are required to dispose of their trash themselves. We appreciate your understanding that we have passed on this cost to the accommodation fee.
Despite the inconvenience, we are very grateful for your evaluation of the location.
We hope you will consider staying at our hotel again if you have the opportunity.
Thank you very much for your use and review.

Convenient to travel. Not too far from the BTS, easy to find food, not too crowded. But it's convenient to go anywhere. There is a convenience store. supermarket Night food
The transportation is relatively convenient, the environment is quiet at night, and it is very comfortable to live alone

I was shocked when I opened the door: how small it is. However, after looking around, I found that the facilities and equipment are very complete: there are air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators, telephones, hair dryers, kettles, and even microwave ovens, induction cookers, and even pots. You can simply cook a meal by yourself. Garbage needs to be sorted and put into garbage bags by yourself, and can be thrown away in the trash can in the laundry room on the first floor the next day.
The closet has hangers, pajamas, and a vacuum cleaner. It is not cleaned during the stay. If it is too dirty, you can vacuum it yourself. In fact, after I lived for eight days, there was no dust.
The bathroom and bathroom are together. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The toilet seat is always warm and there is no electricity when you go out, which is very good. The sink is separate and has its own lighting. There are mini cabinets on the top and bottom, where you can put some things. There is also dish soap and dishwashing foam, which is not too convenient.
There are TVs, air conditioners, remote controls for lights, wiring boards, network cables and wifi routers on the desk. The password is on the reminder sheet given by the waiter when you check in. The most thoughtful thing is: there is a blue bag with data cables and plugs, which is very easy to use.
The quilt is very light. It was only 7 degrees at night when I arrived. I was worried about the cold, but it turned out to be a duvet, which was warm and comfortable. The pillows are also very firm down, very comfortable.
The windows may only be opened very small due to safety considerations, and the window glass is embossed, which is very beautiful.
The disadvantage is that the curtains are not blackout fabrics, and my room is facing the east, and I will be woken up by the sun in the morning (the sun is not strong, only a little, after all, there are two layers of curtains). The second disadvantage is that it is too small, and there is nothing wrong with it. But I heard from friends that hotel rooms in big cities in Japan are small.
It happened to be the cherry blossom season when I went there. Next to the hotel and on the road opposite Musashi University, there are all century-old cherry blossom trees, which are in full bloom and beautiful.
There was also an election. The gentleman on the poster met at the entrance of the Glacier Terrace subway station and kept bowing there.

The room is relatively small but has everything you need. Although there is no room service, the front desk will inform you in advance that it is suitable for a single person. Of course, it is best to bring your own toothbrushes, towels and other items, otherwise it will be difficult to use them for several days.
