Tora Hotel Minowa

We stayed in Room A, which had two bedrooms, one double bed, and a bunk bed. There was a large dining table, perfect for late-night snacks. It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The only minor issue was the top bunk of the bunk bed; the mattress was too thick, making it feel a bit unsafe to sleep on, as there was a fear of falling off. Luckily, my children are older, but it would be quite dangerous for very young kids. I hope they can replace it with a mattress of a more suitable thickness. The room had ample facilities; though small, it had everything we needed. The self-check-in process was smooth, and communication was clear and convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk from the MTR station, with a 7-Eleven and a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which was very convenient for late-night snacks and shopping. Although the room was on the ground floor, it was very quiet at night in the residential area. Overall, we had a good experience. It's very suitable for families traveling with children, and the price is reasonable. The only uncomfortable aspect was the central air conditioning; we couldn't adjust the temperature, and it was set to 16-17 degrees Celsius, which felt a bit too cold even in summer.

The room was clean, and I didn't have any major complaints. If I had to pick something, the bathroom was quite small. The most disappointing thing was that the water completely stopped working in the middle of the night, so I couldn't even use the toilet. It was quite concerning, and I couldn't contact the hotel management. The water was back on by morning, but it definitely left me feeling like I can't trust this place.

I felt it was good, so I extended my stay for another night. However, it seems like booking multiple nights together would have been more cost-effective.

The room is well-equipped, comfortable, spacious, and bright.

I stayed for four nights. Firstly, it's a good value hotel in Tokyo, with spacious rooms; both bedrooms are quite large, more than enough for my suitcase. I booked the largest room type, C, but the actual room was the same as the pictured D room type. The service was excellent, with Chinese-speaking customer service who responded very promptly. I even found my things easily after leaving them at the back of the hotel. However, there were also many problems. Firstly, there's no elevator, so those with large luggage should consider this. The steps are narrow and steep, making it very difficult for women with less strength to carry large suitcases. Secondly, the soundproofing is terrible. The building itself seems quite old, with ordinary glass windows. The room is right next to the street, making it extremely noisy at night; I could clearly hear people talking on the street. Light sleepers should definitely avoid this hotel; I basically had to use noise-canceling headphones to fall asleep. Other minor issues included the air conditioning control panel being in the hallway, not in the room. I don't know if other guests or staff kept adjusting our room temperature, which was annoying. The bathroom faucet was old, and the water pressure was low; hopefully, this can be improved.

The triple room was very comfortable, much more spacious than the triple room at the Tokyo Dome Hotel. It's close to Senso-ji Temple, with a bus stop right outside that goes all the way to Senso-ji and Skytree. Aside from the somewhat basic shower room, everything else was very comfortable, and the bed was excellent.

It was a really great place to stay. The room had two bedrooms, the beds were very comfortable, and it had all the amenities you could need. You could even cook your own meals. Both bedrooms had TVs with screen mirroring capabilities. The owners were also very kind; they didn't ask for compensation even when I accidentally broke something. It was also close to the subway station, and the price was incredibly reasonable. For less than 500 yuan a night, you got everything you needed. It was much more comfortable than staying in Akasaka. The owner was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place. It's the perfect choice for any trip to Tokyo, and the subway goes directly to Akihabara.

I booked this room for two nights. The first night, I couldn't sleep because of the smell, I felt nauseous and dizzy, so I rushed to another hotel in the middle of the night. I didn't check in the second night, and the hotel wouldn't give me a refund. Luckily, the platform subsidized part of the payment.

The location is very close to Asakusa and Ueno, and the pick-up and drop-off points were very convenient when I called an Uber. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, which is different from what I saw online.
