Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ochanomizu Jimbocho Reviews

It was pouring rain on the day I left, and the front desk lady was so kind to help me with a rain cover, otherwise, everything would have gotten soaked. I'm very grateful for her help.

The facilities are complete with a mini-fridge, and the room is clean and tidy. It's located in the Jinbocho neighborhood, which has a vibrant local atmosphere with many small eateries. It's close to the subway station and about a twenty-minute walk from Akihabara.

The room is quite small but very clean and the hotel is very well located.

This is a great hotel! They provide toiletries, pajamas, and even charging cables and curling irons, so you really don't need to bring anything when staying at a Sotetsu series hotel. Although this particular branch in Jimbocho is a bit of a walk from the station, the area is full of bookstores and restaurants, making for a fantastic atmosphere.

Convenient location, recently renovated, very clean and hygienic. Everything was great.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms have all amenities and the a/c is excellent. Floor staff is extremely kind. I would suggest adding more options to the breakfast (yogurt, cereals and some fruit).

You are warned that there might be some condensation from the air conditioner - and there is condensation. While it is understandable that condensation happens naturally especially during hot and super humid seasons, but water droppimg when you are sleeping is very disturbing and dirty to some point. I feel that the room being small is another cause to this problem. Anyways this hotel must provide a solution to this problem not warning guests.

Stayed here for a BP concert tour. It's a bit of a walk from the Yamanote Line station, and the closer station isn't very convenient. There aren't many distinctive restaurants around the hotel, so we ended up going to Torikizoku. It's quiet, though, with no street noise.

Excellent value for money! It's close to the subway station, with a convenience store and breakfast place right downstairs. Plus, it's near Yu Shui Tea, so you can explore the instrument shops around there. Very good, indeed!

Excellent location in Chiyoda Ward, quiet both day and night. Jimbocho Station is famous for its bookstores and offers direct access to Shibuya and Shinjuku. Ochanomizu is just a 5-minute walk north, making it very convenient to connect to all parts of Tokyo. The smoking room had a slight odor upon entry, but it quickly dissipated with the air purifier. The independent air conditioning unit allowed me to adjust the temperature to my preference.

Nice location near train station

This is a self-check-in place, which was very convenient. In the lobby, they had skincare products like lotion and emulsion from Kose, and even bath salts – perfect for a relaxing soak after a tiring day. The surrounding area is great too, with a bookstore founded by Mr. Lu Xun and a century-old tempura restaurant. Meiji University is also not far away.
