The Blossom Hibiya

The hotel is about five kilometers from Xinqiao, but it's a converted office building. The soundproofing isn't great, and you can really hear the train noise from Xinqiao. It's also quite new, so if you're sensitive to smells, you might find it a bit uncomfortable. There's a free drink bar though.

This hotel is truly heartwarming. It's located in Hibiya Park, very close to Shimbashi Station. The lobby on the 18th floor offers expansive views and feels bright and grand. We were given a room on the 27th floor, and we could even spot the tip of Tokyo Tower from our window. The room layout was well-designed and fully equipped, including a Japanese shower/bathtub. Although not huge, there was enough space to open two 24-inch suitcases. The twin beds were both 1.2 meters wide, a bit soft, but very comfortable to sleep on. There were plenty of breakfast options, including sashimi rice bowls, and you could help yourself to soft drinks in the lounge. Most of the guests were Westerners, and the staff's English was fluent, making communication smooth. The service was superb! Since our stay coincided with my daughter's birthday, we received a meticulously handwritten card from the hotel staff! We also got a birthday gift, and all our requests for the room were met. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo.

The Blossom Hotel's lobby is on the 18th floor. On the 19th floor, there's a pantry with complimentary small drinks and snacks. Guest rooms start from the 20th floor, which is great because the views are fantastic – you get half a tower view (yes, you can see half the people, haha!). You do have to switch elevators to go downstairs.

This was my first time staying at Hotel Hibiya and it's definitely popular with international guests. The room was quite spacious for a city center hotel. The breakfast was excellent and I'd highly recommend it. The only downside was a rather strong smell in the room, I'm not sure what caused it. However, the hotel offers fantastic value for money, a perfect score!

The front desk service was excellent, always friendly and never showed any impatience. The room felt very clean. There are smoking rooms in both the lobby and on the 19th floor, and the 19th floor also offers complimentary drinks. The breakfast at 150 RMB per person was incredibly good value for money; just the sashimi, tempura, and Ehime oranges alone made it worthwhile!

This hotel is in a central location near Ginza, with easy access to the JR Yamanote, Ginza, and Hibiya lines, and right next to Hibiya Park. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was, especially for Tokyo, and loved that it had a separate wet and dry area with a bathtub – that really exceeded my expectations! The hotel lobby is also very open with great views, and the breakfast was delicious. I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.
