A small note of gratitude to my most favorite accommodation ever 🥺 I was exhausted after the long flight, but from the very first step into this hostel, I was surrounded by care, hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. I actually have a lot of experience staying in hotels, from 3 to 5 stars, but I have never encountered this level of service. Maybe it's just a Japan thing, but I'm pretty sure I was just very lucky to have chosen this place. The hostel itself was wonderful. I booked a single room, and despite the compact space, I was completely satisfied. Everything was clean, with a soft big bed, air conditioning, a window, and a table—more than enough if you don't plan to stay in the room all day. The common areas were also clean and very comfortable. But my absolute favorite spot was the 1st floor, thanks of course to the amazing staff. I'm so grateful to Ai, who became a real friend to me. She was always there to help. And special thanks to Hisashi-san, Matthew, and Anthony—all of them were incredibly friendly and open to conversation. I can’t wait to stay here again. The place is accessible, however its small. it’s hard to move around the room, compare to other room and in picture is different to the one I book.

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the interior environment was excellent. The room includes a kitchen, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee, and black tea, making it very convenient for preparing your own food. It's a great room for two guests. Highly recommended! 👍

Nice little rooms even though they are tiny. The bathrooms are shared but very clean. From our room we had a balcony with a stunning view of the city!

Great price to stay in Tokyo with a private room. Places are neat and clean. Bathing may take some time to wait as there is only one per floor.

I had a great 5-night stay at the hostel where it is bound to be lively at the ground floor. If you’re that kind of person that likes small talks, this would be a perfect place for you to stay! The room is overall perfect; I have ample space to pack my luggage. You may opt to choose whether you want a high floor and whether you want to be away from the lift, which I thought was a nice gesture. Cleanliness is decent, especially the toilets. The staff is so friendly as well! They accommodated to my requests and questions, and frankly the experience of interacting with them is much different than the typical business hotel staff. Although, there are a few pointers to take note (not negative but perhaps if you’re nit-picky about them): • Walls are definitely not soundproof. You can hear people walking along the corridor (with some chatter), and they can hear your TV volume. • You only have two hooks to hang your clothes. Considering that I had a towel rental, it would be nice to have a separate hanger for the towel. • They won’t do housekeeping daily unless you request for one. I was fine without one since I don’t stay for long. • Nearest station is roughly an 8-minute walk which isn’t too bad; however if you have huge luggages, you would need to overcome the bridge across the rail tracks. Don’t worry, there are elevators available. • Not much food options around, but there are near by convenient stores. Might be worth exploring the area if you want to grab a meal, especially the nearby station. I would definitely recommend this place if you are on a tight budget but also wanted your own private room (instead of a capsule bed). Hope to come back another time!

I just finished my stay at &AND Hostel Minami Senju in Tokyo, and overall, this is a fantastic choice for budget travelers! To be honest, the location is a little out of the way from major hubs like Shibuya or Shinjuku. But don't worry, the transportation access is super easy. It's just a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) to Minami Senju Station, and from there, you can hop on the Hibiya Line or JR to get anywhere. I actually prefer the area because the neighborhood is much quieter and more local. One of the best points about this place is the cleanliness. For a hostel, this place is exceptionally clean, from the lounge areas to the shared bathrooms. My sleeping room was also comfortable and felt spacious enough, which is important for resting after a long day of sightseeing. The unique thing about this hostel is its technology concept. I liked how they integrate smart features—it gives a modern touch to the whole hostel experience. The bottom line is, if you are looking for a place that is clean, modern, and very affordable in Tokyo, &AND Hostel Minami Senju is the right choice. The value for money is outstanding, even if you have to spend a little extra time commuting on the train.

Good located hostel with clean shared toilets and bathroom. Room was small and sometimes a bit noisy, but a very good place for a couple of days.
