Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo Reviews

The hotel isn't right next to a subway station, but the shuttle bus service is super convenient, running every 15 minutes to and from Meguro Station. It pretty much covers all your transportation needs. It wasn't until after we checked out that we realized they'd upgraded our room type! It was definitely bigger, and we could easily spread out three 28-inch suitcases, which was really handy. The only downside was that the facilities felt a bit old. Even though it had been renovated, there was still an unpleasant smell from the sink drain in the bathroom.

Overall the hotel is a bit old and outdated but it is being maintained very well with nice staff. Definitely want to stay here again.

One staff member was very polite and even helped me carry my luggage to wait for my Uber when I checked out. However, there were one or two others who were quite indifferent. Overall, it was decent, but the subway is quite far and inconvenient, requiring an uphill walk.

The room looked pretty good and was quite spacious. They even had a big Christmas tree during Christmas, which created a lovely atmosphere. The view from the window during the day was excellent. The shuttle bus to Meguro and Shinagawa subway stations was very convenient.

The service was great; they proactively delivered our luggage to the hotel. The hotel's breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had at a five-star hotel, with several types of fish, plenty of fruits, and a wide variety of drinks. It was even more extensive than the Banyan Tree I recently stayed at in China. The hotel garden is beautiful; I managed to photograph ginkgo and red leaves. I didn't even visit other attractions in Tokyo because this place was so good. The hotel shuttle bus is also a highlight—very convenient. You can catch it next to the taxi stand, near a small sign, after exiting the JR Meguro East Exit (see picture two).

Compared to other hotels, the room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was excellent. The price was also reasonable. The service was standard, but the hotel's executive lounge was a nice touch. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, a few hundred meters, but they do offer a shuttle service, which makes it pretty convenient.

This hotel is located in Tokyo's Shirokanedai area. The comfortable room was quite spacious, and the all-cotton bedding was warm, soft, and very comfortable. It was incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. Toiletries were well-stocked, and the hotel has two restaurants offering fresh and abundant breakfast options. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and friendly. They even helped us, who don't speak much Japanese, book a restaurant outside the hotel. Our sincere thanks to them!

The 30 m² room was spacious, which was a good point, but it was very old and dated. The hotel is currently renovating its rooms, which shows that improvements are being made, but our room had not been updated yet. The hotel is a bit far from the metro, and the two nearby subway lines are not very convenient, which made transportation less practical. The service was correct, and the staff were kind and friendly, which we appreciated.

The room was bright and of a good size. It came with Mikimoto toiletries, and I even took the unused ones home. The pillows deserve a special mention, as they were the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel. The hotel also features its own beautiful garden courtyard, which is perfect for a relaxing half-hour stroll. Transportation is very convenient. A shuttle bus provides direct service to Meguro Station, and from there, the Yamanote Line offers excellent access to Shibuya, Harajuku, and Shinjuku. Getting to Yokohama is also straightforward. Taxis are readily available 24/7 right outside the hotel entrance. A taxi ride to Haneda Airport cost around ¥3,000-¥4,000, which I considered a reasonable price. The only minor issue was that the in-room coffee machine wasn't very clean, so I'd recommend checking it thoroughly before use.

Feel lucky that I booked into this hotel. Although the location is not as convenient as the Ginza area, the hotel has shuttle bus to/from the Meguro Station. There are also limousine bus arrangements to the Narita airport. I also love the small garden at the back of the hotel. A morning walk in the garden is so refreshing. Hotel facilities are old fashion but are kept clean and tidy. All the staff that I met, at the Front Desk, Bell Desk, Housekeeping, were all very friendly. Definitely this will be the hotel that I will consider for the next trip.

Perfect location. Calm and relaxing and not too far from the main attractions. Can either take the free shuttle to Meguro station or walk to a nearby station and get anywhere in Japan. Great restaurants on site. Great staff. Relaxing open garden on site. Enjoy staying here while I am in Japan.

The hotel seems to be in a residential area, so it's very quiet at night. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, though you have to walk a bit, and also a larger supermarket. If you get back late, there isn't much to eat besides ordering takeout or going to a convenience store. There's a shuttle service between Meguro Station and the hotel, with the last shuttle from the station to the hotel at 10 PM, which is very convenient. The cleanliness is well-maintained; they clean and change the sheets daily.
