Ryogoku View Hotel Reviews

Every time I visit Tokyo, I choose to stay here. The subway entrance is right outside, and there's a convenient street with convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. It's very quiet at night, and the balcony is great for drying clothes. The hotel's luggage storage and airport delivery services are also very convenient. It's a shame that one piece of clothing went missing from the balcony this trip; it might have been left behind at the hotel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tokyo.

This is our third time booking here. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the JR station, just two stops from Akihabara, and easily accessible to other parts of Tokyo and the airport. There are also many restaurants nearby, including ramen, Saizeriya, yakiniku, yakitori, and more. The hotel lobby offers complimentary coffee, and you can also store your luggage. The service is excellent; we called the front desk for two extra pillows, and they were delivered very quickly. That's why we choose to stay at this hotel every time we visit Tokyo.

Great hotel, close to train, shops, bars etc within a local neighbourhood. Tokyo is huge and this hotel is in a good location to get around.

During my trip to Tokyo last week, I stayed at the LERB Ryogoku View Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the JR Ryogoku Station West Exit. You can even see the hotel sign and balcony from the train platform! Downstairs, there's a coffee shop, and right next door is a food street with places like Isomaru Suisan and Torikizoku, plus convenience stores nearby. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. Checking in is now self-service; you just scan your passport, and the room key card automatically prints out. Check-out is just as easy – simply drop the key card into the machine slot. The room is small, and the hallway is narrow, but it has everything you need. There's a bathtub, toiletries are provided, and there's even a balcony facing the McDonald's across the street.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the exit of Ryogoku Station on the JR Sobu Line. The hotel itself seems a bit dated, possibly due to an older renovation. The room was incredibly small; it felt like a former single room with three beds crammed in, making it difficult to even walk around. The TV was tiny. The cleanliness also left something to be desired. It seems many hotel staff in Japan are now from South Asia, and the meticulousness and hygiene standards aren't quite what they used to be with Japanese staff. Anyway, the day after checking out and returning home, my legs were covered in itchy red spots. I'm not sure if it was because of this hotel. The front desk staff during check-in in the evening were two Japanese gentlemen, and their service was pretty good. In the morning, for check-out, it was two Japanese ladies. Since it's right by the station, dining, convenience stores, and shopping are all very accessible, which is a definite plus. However, overall, it's okay as a temporary stopover, but I wouldn't be very satisfied staying here for a longer tourist trip. I didn't take many photos, but here's one of JR Ryogoku Station taken from the McDonald's across the street while having breakfast, just to mark the occasion.

Even though it's a budget hotel, the room was really spacious – we could easily open three suitcases. It's the biggest budget hotel I've stayed in so far. For under 15,000 yen in Tokyo or Osaka, it's unbeatable.

Ryogoku station is just across the street. There are many restaurants and cafes around. A convenience store (Family Mart) Is also very near. While near the train station, there is very little not even noticeable noise heard from our room. Akihabara “Electric Town” is just 2 stops away from the station. Amenities are complete, i would say exceedingly more than midrange hotels in the Philippines. There is no complimentary bottled water though as they say it is not standard in Japan where tap water is safe to drink. Customer service is excellent as well, thanks to Yuna (not sure about the spelling) and her superior. This hotel is highly recommended.

The location is very closed to JR station. Good for family trip. There are many local restaurants and convenience stores.

This is second time i stay in Ryogoku. Strategic location and good for traveller to stay here because not crowded and calm. The service in hotel also good! Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommend to all traveller to stay here.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! Even though it's an older hotel, its location is super convenient. The subway station is right across the street, just a few minutes walk, and the Ryogoku station isn't too crowded. It's only a few stops to Akihabara – highly recommended! Plus, the entire street downstairs is full of shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and drugstores.

The hotel room was very quiet, well-equipped, and the environment was great. It's very close to the subway station. I booked it for a friend, and they were very satisfied. The breakfast was also quite substantial. I'll book this place again next time.

A very clean and comfortable hotel! We stayed for 3 nights. The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Higobashi. There are 7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart convenience stores nearby, plus plenty of izakayas downstairs for late-night snacks. The hotel also offers complimentary access to a hot spring, which was wonderful. Highly recommend!
