Villa Fontaine Tokyo Kayabacho is a convenient and practical hotel, especially for a business trip. The location is excellent—very close to Kayabacho subway station and, in my case, also very close to my office, which made getting around Tokyo very easy.
The room is small, with just enough space for two single beds. There is no proper desk for working, only a very small table that is only large enough for a cup of coffee or a few personal items. So if you need to work extensively from your hotel room, the setup may not be ideal.
Breakfast was also delicious. The menu was mostly western.
The room was clean, although the interior and furnishings look a little dated. On the positive side, the air conditioning was well maintained and worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the summer.
Overall, it is a good, no-frills choice for a business trip if your priorities are cleanliness, convenience, and easy access to the subway rather than a spacious room or extensive in-room amenities.
