Honestly, I'm speechless. I booked this hotel based on reviews, but the location... well, how do I put it? Even though it's in Ikebukuro and somewhat convenient, the area around the hotel is full of adult entertainment establishments. Every time I stepped out, I'd get approached and encounter drunk people – I just couldn't deal with it. Then there's the hotel itself. I couldn't even check in half an hour early. After checking out, I wanted to store my luggage but was told I could only leave it until the afternoon? I was practically kicked out, so I had to spend an extra 3000 yen (which was a hassle) to store my bags at the station, and then change my ride-hailing address, which forced the price to double for the day. This hotel really treated me 'well'. This is my first time encountering such a ridiculous hotel, and I travel to Japan multiple times a year.

Room was clean & comfortable. Space Ok with 2 luggag(24") . Drinking water dispenser at lobby.plus point WiFi was good. 😉 . Couldn't check in even though arrived ~2pm ++

Very disappointed with this hotel. Never experienced this in my life!! 1. No aircon when website says ac for cooling only. They use centralized AC. Was told next mth only can turn on cold air. The room was so hot n we couldn't sleep. They said open windows. But so noisy, could hear ppl shouting all night. Terrible! 2. Staff inconsistency in what they say. Print out doc says check out at 12pm, but they called us in the morning to check out at 10am. The older lady just kept saying No No.No. So rigid and not willing to help. its not even our fault. Yr hotel made mistakes and customers hv to go through the stress during holidays. 3. Website says 'luggage storage' thats why i booked here. I also double checked with a staff 1 day in advance to store luggage on our last day. When checked out, the old lady again said No keeping luggages! I almost swore at her! How can u 1 day says this, another day says different thing. Then dont advertise on website to keep luggage. Our flight is late night, so inconsiderate and rigid. Overall i just feel they are so unfriendly and unhelpful.

The hotel is conveniently located near Ikebukuro Station, making shopping easy. However, the hotel itself is quite old-fashioned, and the air conditioning in the room was broken. The window seal was also very poor. The worst part was the bed – I don't know what kind of mattress it was, but it was so soft it felt like sleeping on a spring trampoline. Maybe I just got the softest one they had. I slept terribly! The photos online don't match the reality.

The air con was not opened when I got into the room and there is a strange smell, after like 1 or 2 hrs it’s not noticeable anymore, but the smell in toilet was still there all 3 days I stayed there, so I went to the big bath instead
