Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa

The hotel should be a Japanese local chain hotel. When you enter to the lobby, you will sense the differences. For the room, it is quite difficult to get a room with this size and balcony at this reasonable rate. 10 mins walk to the station is not bad as well and a 7-11 the basement which is another add-on

We enjoyed fully our stay at Grand Prince Hotel Shintakanawa! This time we stayed for a lounge access floor and it was fantastic! But we missed most of evening cocktail food/finger food time as check-in receptionist didnt really explain it ( not sure if they are not supposed to explain the details ) so we didn’t know that cocktail that evening Cap time does not provide any food. I understand that it’s very busy at check-in time but I could see that she was districted with talking to somebody over microphone while she was doing my check-in. Therefore when she explained about Lounge access she was quite in rush…wish she could have explained more. But now we understand so maybe next time we will be aware of it. Another thing is that when I was going down for using swimming pool I called Prince 1 and I was told that I could use Diamonds pool, so I went down right away. However when I arrived I was told that Diamond is not available. So I had to go back to the other swimming pool, hopefully when they give any advice those customer service know the details and give us the correct information. Other than that we fully enjoyed Lounge access and breakfast! There were variety of afternoon tea and cakes including Japanese sweets and western style sweets. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and enjoyed different kind of food , drinks and soup! We would like to come back when we want to pamper ourselves ☺️
