Shinjuku Washington Hotel Reviews

As a Solo traveller on this part of my journey, it is a hotel with an excellent convenient location. Very Near Shinjuku and an underground passage way all the way connected to the main station. The area around it is government-related buildings, clean, safe, and nice. The breakfast is good with two choices of restaurant to choose from, one on the ground floor of the newer Annexe Building, service and food are better. For a great view and more variety of the breakfast feast, have breakfast at the main old building's top-level restaurant. Great view. As shown in the images. Overall, Staff Services is ok. Sor solo travelling room, room is a little small and the window view is also of the traditional older building, as shown in the images.

Location is 15 mins to the Shinjuku station where the shopping and restaurant areas. Family mart just below the hotel. The room is rather small.

Pros: 1. The airport bus goes directly to the hotel entrance, with direct routes from both Haneda and Narita airports, which is incredibly convenient! It saved me the hassle of lugging suitcases up and down stairs on the subway. 2. The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the 25th floor was absolutely stunning! Highly recommend! Cons: 1. The room was extremely small. Staying alone, I could barely open one carry-on suitcase, and it was difficult to even turn around. 2. The room's air conditioning couldn't be adjusted. It's centrally controlled by the building, and the room only had a ventilation option. The more I used it, the colder it got, so I ended up just turning it off. Luckily, the bathroom had heating, otherwise showering would have been a problem. 3. Staying for 3 consecutive nights, the sheets weren't changed. They only replaced one towel daily, provided a pair of disposable slippers, and one bottle of water. Summary: Suitable for solo business or leisure travelers. The facilities are decent enough.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The hotel is located inside a mall, which includes convenience stores and restaurants. A short walk leads to more restaurants and roadside eating options. It's a great spot for shopping, but the Shinjuku area is extremely crowded and hard to navigate during holidays. The hotel served it's purpose and is an affordable choice if visiting the Shinjuku area.

Great value for money, it has everything you need. Although it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, and the towels and pillows are new. The staff are also very professional. The location is excellent, with direct access to the subway station.

The location of the hotel is fine, about 10 minutes walk to the heart of Shinjuku. The facility of the hotel is great, however the room is a-bit small. If you are just looking for somewhere to “sleep”, I think that would not be a problem. The last but not least, the breakfast is extremely outstanding. Suggest you go to the Annex Restaurant on the first floor.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Highlight was buffet breakfast ib the top floor restaurant. Highly recommend!

The location is great as it is close to Shinjuku station. There was luggage storage also which travellers a lot for their plan

Good location. Nice and friendly staffs. Convenient store right below hotel. Good WiFi connection. But the room is small.

Great location, close to Shinjuku Station. There's a Lawson downstairs and a 7-Eleven next door. You can also store your luggage after checking out, and there's a direct airport bus from the hotel, which is super convenient.

Hotel room is very small..suitable for 2 person stay after open luggage with limited walk way. Location is very convenient nearby Shinjuku Station. Very convenient during check in and check out.

Good location with a great price and free amenities including face masks which is quite unusual. Airport Limousine Bus from Narita stops right outside the door.

The location is decent, but it's a bit far from Shinjuku Station. There's a great tuna sushi/sashimi place on the B1 level. The 16.5 square meter room with two beds was unbelievably tiny. There was absolutely no space to open my friend's suitcase. On the first day, we had to squeeze in just to get essentials, and on the second day, we laid a disposable bath towel on the bed to organize the luggage... The facilities are complete though (honestly, for such a small room, they really don't need a TV cabinet and a stool). At night, every ten seconds, there's a loud whooshing sound, like a powerful car passing by. Earplugs don't block it at all. I noticed other guests have mentioned the same issue. If you value quiet and spaciousness, I definitely don't recommend this place. Here comes the main complaint: for breakfast on the second day, the food was good, but one of the older, short-haired Japanese female staff members at the restaurant entrance, who was seating guests, had a terrible attitude. She was very gentle and accommodating towards Caucasian and Japanese local guests, but incredibly rude to my friend and me. My friend complained to the hotel manager about her behavior, but it was brushed off lightly. You all can decide for yourselves... The hotel shuttle bus goes directly to the airport, but it takes a huge detour around Shinjuku before heading out, basically wasting about forty minutes. If you're in a hurry, be mindful of the time you allocate for getting to the airport.

Great hotel for it's price, about a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku station after a long day if walking would of preferred a less walk from metro. Apart from that can't fault the complex great view from the room
