This was our second trip to Japan within the past 5 years. Previously, we stayed at a budget hotel which was cramped and small compared to American hotels. For this reason, we decided to splurge and I'm so glad we did. Splurge on the deluxe room if you value space and comfort. It not only made a huge difference, but it made our stay even better. The deluxe room comes with a walk- in closet, huge bathroom, and the room itself was big enough for a King bed and sitting area with a couch and chair. The staff provided excellent customer service at all times. The hotel is not that close to a train station so be wary of that, especially if you have heavy luggage. Also, this hotel is huge and navigating it takes time before you know where to go and how to get to the area's local restaurants and train stations. The hotel grounds have a beautiful Japanese garden with waterfall which rivals some parks. The only criticism I have about our stay is dining. As do all hotels, this one charges a huge price to dine on-site. You have access to local restaurants that are within walking distance for half the price. If you want to save money do a little research online and dine off-site. There are plenty of options around the area.

Hotel opened less than a year ago. Everything is new and the design is very modern. Location is in the middle of Shinjuku so it was close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and the connection between the lobby (on the 18th floor) to the concierge in the ground floor was always in sync. Breakfast at the main hotel had a great view for a nice clear day but selection is limited. They have a second buffet in their neighbour hotel (17th floor) that has more selection. I would not really recommend this hotel for younger kids due to its design but overall great hotel.

Check in is at main tower, but staff will help to bring the luggage over to the room at garden tower, no hassle. Great location, as garden tower is super close to Akasaka Mitsuke and Nagatacho station; convenient in accessing many attractions. Across the street, there are many food options near Akasaka Mitsuke station. There is a supermarket nearby too and family mart just at level 2 of building, so very convenient. There is a Rose garden and Japanese garden in the hotel. The room size is super good too compared to Tokyo standard.

The room was large and luxurious. It was a pity that the outside of the window was the next building, but the others are satisfied. Breakfast was also original and I enjoyed it. My wife likes the service of the bear on the Ikkyu diamond. I was grateful that I could choose red and white wine, and I opened one. It is the same everywhere at the subway station, but it is difficult to know where the hotel is located even though it is on the ground nearby. Once I knew the location, it was fine, but at first I was lost.

Terrific newish hotel in the top 4 floors of an office building. About 320 t0 30 minute walk to Shibuya, Ginza or Harajuku or 2 minutes to the metro station. The metro is easy to use as instructions are in a lot of lanuages and you can pay with coins, notes or cards. We paid a little extra and were in a larger corner room with 180 degree views. Free generous minibar refilled each day. Staff were tops. There is a Japanese restaurant on the second floor which is independent of the notel. Excellent and fair prices. Breakfast was part of our package and it well above average. If you have bags or cant handle stairs ask the taxi to go into the basement from where you access the hotel with ease Tokyo is not cheap but I will certainly be back here

This was one of the best hotel in Tokyo especially Shinjuku area. It is near the station of Marunochi line for easy access to other line or areas like Shibuya, Ginza, and Ikebukuro. Near the hotel there are several Halal restaurant for Muslim travller. With reasonable price you can get a premium luxury service in this hotel. We enjoy staying in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. I will stay in this hitel again if I have a chance to visit Tokyo in the near future.

Had a good stay at this place. It is only about 7 mins' walk from the Shinjuku Gyoemmae station on the Marunouchi line. When you exit from Exit 2, turn left, turn left and go straight down the road about 5 mins till you come to the main road, turn right and you see the Citadines signboard. The studio double that we booked was well equipped - there was just about everything - microwave oven, kettle, iron and ironing board, cooking utensils, plates, cups, bowls. Located at a quieter part of Shinjuku but plenty restaurants, 7-eleven, lawson and family mart nearby. Service was good . We left our baggage there when we checked out and came back for it later before leaving for the airport.

Started here for five nights. Nothing fancy, but great value for a nice and comfortable stay. Perfectly lofted in Shinjuku, walking distance to most within the area and plenty of restaurants around. I like that this property is located off of a small side street and quiet. Check in was efficient and fast and morning breakfast is basic but enough to get one through the day. Rooms are actually not that small (I’ve stayed in smaller in Tokyo) for one person. Be prepared for a very firm mattress. Rooms have all of the modern conveniences. Wi-Fi fast and reliable. Lawson down the corner for provisions. You can opt out of daily housekeeping, and instead every morning a bag of fresh towels is left out your door which I really liked so one can speed in and not be disturbed. For the price and location I highly recommended this property. Toiletries are provided at the front desk for you to help yourself.

The location is vague, even JR Shinjuku, and is better than JR. Shinjuku Gyoen-mae Station on the Tokyo Metro Mirunouchi Line Accessibility is better I was very tired on the day of my return, so I took the Nex train with my suitcase and luggage. I don’t have the confidence to walk 15 minutes to JR Shinjuku. Pay 600 yen and take a taxi Hotel quality is just as good as the price. Good physical strength Recommended for those who consider cost-effectiveness, I like that there is a 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel. I was assigned a room on the 11th floor, so I couldn't expect a great view in the sun, but there was a view that looked good in photos from the hotel hallway.

Room was just enough for two suitcases. The view from the terrace was great. Easy to get around with just few stations to the Tokyo central area. The room, bed, towels, and refrigerator are all clean. The size of the 7,200 yen room and the 7,700 yen room seem to be different, so check carefully when assigning a room. There was a small bathtub in every room, so it was nice to soak in warm water for a while. Poor soundproofing and dryness of the room were the faults, You can adjust the lighting while lying on the bedside lamp, There is basically a multi-tap in the outlet on the desk, etc. It was nice to be considerate of customers down to the smallest details. The kind boss made an effort to guide you in Korean using a translator, I was worried about the weight of my luggage before going to the airport, but they brought a scale on purpose. I was able to check the weight of the luggage in advance. I am 100% willing to revisit tip. If the payment method is Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, etc. Apply the discount of each payment method and pay cash on site You can make a reservation for a little cheaper than doing it.

Really good, one bedroom and one bathroom, especially comfortable, suitable for two people to travel. Everything in the room is clean and tidy. The bathroom and bed are also very clean. My experience was a bit different than some other reviewers. Others referred to the peeling paint in the bath. My room musts have been remodeled (it was on the 5th floor) because it seemed newly done, and had a nice acrylic sort of covering on the walls. I stayed in a western room, and it had plenty of room as a single traveler. I especially liked the bath, as it had full Japanese bath facilities, including a wide variety of lotions and creams. The layout of the room was fine, with the toilet in a separate small room and the bath separate again from the sleeping area. The shower pressure was great, as is typical in Tokyo. I found the bed to be comfortable and the pillows were soft. My biggest gripe with the place is the wifi. For whatever reason, I found the wifi to drop constantly on my phone. My laptop security software gave me a warning of some outdated security settings on the hotel's wifi system, so I don't know if that was relevant or not. All I do know is that I found the wifi on my phone to be unreliable. In general, if you have a pocket wifi device for backup, this is a nicely-located, well-equipped budget choice near to Shinjuku.

A beautiful boutique hotel with a rooftop onsen, at a great price. The room was small, so bring trunk-style luggages instead of those that open flat if possible. I could fit my trunk luggage easily into the nook below the tv. The semi-double bed is also smaller than your regular queen sized ones. While the location is great, it is a long walk from the main Shinjuku JR station, and the distance was truly felt when my feet was in pain and full of blisters from the second day on. The entire hotel was also very dusty for some reason, and it made my partner’s sinus infection act up badly. So I would recommend staying elsewhere if you’re sensitive towards dust. The onsen on the other hand, was great. Didn’t think I’d use it often but I ended up going every night. The onsen water smelled like chlorine most of the time, so don’t expect natural spring water. PS: Men’s onsen is equipped with Dyson hairdryers, but they’re not as strong as the one at home! Women’s one has a different hairdryer, but stronger and nicer than the one in the room. Staff were polite and helpful!

I admit, I was nervous about staying here, having read a lot of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. The hostel was clean and quiet, in a great location (close to Shinjuku, with other stations nearby). As an introvert, I loved the self-service concept - I could check in, check out and get breakfast without having to wait for staff. Speaking of breakfast, for a free breakfast I was impressed - coffee, juice, toast, eggs and yoghurt. I found the bed really comfortable and spacious - I also appreciated having a shelf for smaller items. I found the other guests were generally quiet and respected quiet hours. I've noticed some reviews mentioning the rooms are untidy - there isn't really anywhere to store larger luggage, so it tends to get piled in any available space. Smaller luggage will fit in the bunk with you. Showers and toilets were far cleaner than I'd been led to expect from the reviews, and there were plenty of them. I liked how there were common areas for being social (kitchen and reception) and for when you wanted some quiet (coworking space and outside dorms). However, I found that sometimes the coworking would ”close” (staff would ask you to leave) without warning, so it was difficult to plan around when you could use the space and when you couldn't. If the coworking space is not going to be available during the stated hours, it would be nice to have some warning. But all in all, I would happily stay here again.
