My family stayed at this hotel last year as well. However this year the customer service was really bad. Upon checkin I was greeted at 1:30 pm you know checkin isn’t until 3pm, I acknowledged the statement and said as I flight just arrived if there was a room available we would appreciate it. I was asked if I had 2 reservations I said not 2 for tonight but one for 11/20 and 11/21, she said that’s what I said. I said thank you and I felt she was becoming confrontational. She asked if I wanted the platinum food credit or points I took points my total came to $12 so I owed $2 with the$10 f&b credit, I asked if she could just charge to room since she just checked me in she said no a told me I had to pay no, I reached again for my credit card, she then went to process and said owe it let me charge the room, again I said thank you but never having the politeness returned. Day 2 we had to call and request the 2nd reservation be combined with the 1st, I guess at check in this wasn’t done. No biggie just meant had to get new keys. 2nd night asked for late check out of 3pm from make agent, it was granted, as working remotely and spouse visiting family in the area. It’s 12:15 pm, maid tries to enter room I tell her we have a late checkout, then hotel phone rings, it’s the front desk agent I encountered at checkin, she asked if I could leave the hotel, I repeated, you are asking me to leave the hotel, she said yes. She then stated the maids were done cleaning and only my room was left and they’d just have to sit around until I left. I told her I didn’t have a car as my husband had the car and reminded I was platinum member and that late checkout was a benefit, she restated if you could leave early I know they told you 3pm, I restated I have no transportation I can’t leave now, she said call me back and let me know one way or another if you’re leaving early . My husband returned at 2pm, we left at 2:15 returning the key I said non thing to the agent, and she of course said no thank you for staying. The room was acceptable no housekeeping during stay. Called once front desk as stain on sheet. Also tv had to be reset as it started turning itself off.
