This is really nice boutique hotel in a great location for seeing Toledo. The hotel is a fairly thin slice of an old building on Zocodover Plaza, in which they have inserted a small hotel (about 15 guest rooms in all) with modern conveniences and comfort while retaining much of the original building features. We had a suite overlooking the plaza and it was spacious, comfortable and clean. But the staff is what sets this hotel apart. Everyone we encountered during a 3-night stay was great -- friendly, courteous and showed obvious care for their guests by going above and beyond. Veronica was particularly great. We were initially concerned that the breakfast might not be adequate based on other reviews, but we found it to be more than enough. They bring toast, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, and fresh orange juice to your table, and there is also a cereal bar. We would return to the Adolfo without hesitation.
