We had a perfectly pleasant, if somewhat lonely dinner there one night. In late August, the hotel was very quiet, except by the pool. The hotel is kids friendly and they were all congregated there, enjoying both the indoor and the outdoor facilities. For those wishing to avoid the ear bleed, there are lounge beds set up slightly away from the pool, with great views of the castle and the park. Quirks: * No iron is available either on request or in the room. If you don’t like your dinner shirts wrinkled, learn the crease free packing techniques or use the hotel services; * No hair conditioner is provided. No shoe horn either, anywhere. So if you need to use those, do bring your own.
