Water Fair Inn

The location of this place is absolutely amazing. You've got the morning tea spot right downstairs, Ling Shui Ju is nearby, and it's super close to where you catch the boat rides. A special thanks to the handsome guy at the front desk, he arranged a room that my child absolutely loved. We could listen to traditional opera right from the room, and the view was beautiful too. The soundproofing is excellent; I was a bit worried about the street noise in the morning, but once you close the window, it's completely silent. It's fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

First off, the room's location was excellent, very close to the park entrance which made coming and going easy, and it was right next to where breakfast was served, which was super convenient. The hotel is only two stories high, so getting around was a breeze. The family room for four was incredibly spacious, with two separate rooms inside and a really big bathroom that even had a bathtub. The kids' room was a big hit with the little ones, featuring simple toys, books, toiletries, and even bathrobes. The room was also very clean. The service was great, with everyone being very friendly. As for downsides, first, some of the facilities are a bit dated. Second, I really hope they can renovate the bathroom to add an air conditioning vent, otherwise, showering in winter can get quite chilly.

This guesthouse has an antique charm, and my child absolutely loved the Super Wings decorations. However, as an adult, I felt they didn't quite fit the overall style of the hotel. Personally, I think there's no need to force in child-friendly elements; sticking to the traditional style would be excellent and would perfectly match the ambiance of Wuzhen. The hotel is conveniently located not far from the visitor center entrance, and it's a quick electric cart ride away. Exploring Wuzhen is also very straightforward: you can walk from one end to the other and then take a sculling boat back, which is very smooth and requires no detours. The most convenient aspect is the morning tea service. Unlike other hotels that require reservations and have limits (though it's certainly enough food), you just tell the front desk that you want breakfast/morning tea. You can simply head out with your phone and start scanning QR codes to eat. I recommend going right when it opens; there are fewer people, no waiting, and a wide variety of food – you'll definitely be full. The downside is that it's quite cold outdoors early in the morning, but you get to experience the most authentic Wuzhen sunrise. Finally, I'd like to commend Xiao Cheng at the front desk. His service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Right after check-in, he brought us a welcome gift. When we found the sink in our room wasn't clean, Xiao Cheng immediately contacted staff to resolve it and even helped us waive the parking fee. Later, he was always quick to respond and answer any questions we had about our tour, consistently thinking and solving problems from a guest's perspective. The boss should consider giving him a raise!

Highly NOT recommended!! And I'd advise against staying here unless your child is absolutely obsessed with the Super Wings IP. If you do decide to book, make sure to do it through a platform, never offline!! The hotel itself has no scenery. Let's talk about the service: due to a handover issue, our extended stay for the second day required waiting. Since check-out is at 12 PM, the hotel readily agreed to a late check-out until 1:30 PM. Later, I paid at the front desk to extend our stay. The next day, considering my child went to bed late the night before, I asked if we could have a late check-out. The hotel staff had a very poor attitude, saying only a 30-minute extension was possible. After I told them I had already booked through a platform once, they then agreed to an hour's extension. Heh, I guess they were afraid of a bad review.

Stayed here during the Wuzhen Theatre Festival. The room was decorated with photos, all of them from the Xizha Scenic Area! It was much less crowded when we explored the area at night, and the morning dim sum experience was also very interesting! I'd love to go back again sometime! The room was a bit newer than I expected! Service: The staff were all very nice. Cleanliness: Pretty good. Facilities: They even had children's slippers and toothbrushes.
