This was my first time celebrating New Year's Eve in Wuzhen. It was a rainy day, so it wasn't too crowded, but the light rain created the perfect ambiance. I was traveling with my brother, and the standard room at Zhaoming Academy was ideal for two adult siblings. While called a standard room, it was actually more like a two-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom setup. There was a small living room upon entering, then the bathroom, and finally two separate rooms, each with its own key card. It perfectly met our needs as siblings traveling together. The hotel service was excellent; the shuttle carts were available on call, making it very convenient to get in and out of the scenic area. Since it was New Year's, the hotel even prepared a special New Year's gift, which was a lovely touch.
