"First time to wuzhen cuz of the views and it is indeed better to experience in person and our stay was very pleasant. We came at the time where it is lull season so there is no crazy crowd. The check in process was smooth and we got them to deliver the luggage for us so we can explore the area first. Then when we are tired we can just look for the buggy and get them to drive us to a drop off point near our minsu. The minsu hosts were super friendly and inviting, like staying in your relatives house. We asked them for where we can buy some ginger tea as it was quite cold one night and they just went and kindly make a pot of ginger tea for us. Super appreciate this gesture! The room was spacious and well equipped with amenities. Our room did not face the waterside view but we still had a small lake view and it feels very private. As we stayed in the scenic area we also get to experience the night walks. Their breakfast was simple but well prepared and of big portions. Love their local food. Overall great experience and wish we had stayed one more day there!"

"This is my first time writing a positive review, folks. I'm usually too lazy to bother, but the service and environment here were so exceptional that I had to take the time to share it and recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a place to stay! We spent a long time choosing, and this place offered the best value for money. First off, the service was truly outstanding. The owner was incredibly welcoming. My friend and I suffer from motion sickness and were quite disoriented when we arrived at the hotel entrance. The front desk attendant, who I believe was the owner, immediately helped us by opening the door and carrying our luggage to our room. Later, even though check-out was at 12 PM, they didn't rush us at all. When we were finally leaving, they even carried our luggage to the front door and waited with us for a taxi. Truly exceptional! The environment was also great. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly soft, and to my surprise, the toilet was even smart! The hotel's interior is very photogenic! I took a few pictures, and on a sunny day, it looked absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied. And you don't have to worry about oversleeping because breakfast is served until after 10 AM. The breakfast itself was delicious. As soon as you arrive at the restaurant, your food is brought out quickly. My absolute favorite was the diced radish with congee – it was out of this world! The soy milk was also very good. I'm not usually a big fan of soy milk, but this one was light and not too sweet. They even deliver takeout right to your room, so you don't have to climb stairs. It's also very close to the scenic spots, just a leisurely ten-minute walk away. Another touching detail: when we were checking out and moving our suitcases downstairs, the front desk attendant heard us and immediately rushed up to help us carry them down! I was genuinely touched 🥹"

"Finding an affordable guesthouse under 200 RMB during the Wuzhen Theatre Festival was incredibly difficult. Opened in 2017, I imagine it has been through its share of challenges. When I checked in for my room card, the accommodation staff and front desk were quite good. They even gave me a box of crispy scallion cookies (Gu Sao Bing), which were delicious 😋. Someone also helped me carry my luggage to the room. Since I was staying in a loft, he even carried my bags up to the second floor, which I really appreciated 🥹. Before you choose a room type, there are some things about the stay you might want to know: This room type amplifies all sorts of sounds, including footsteps on the stairs, the sound of the entry card reader, showers next door, and even conversations from the neighboring room – some of which I could hear crystal clear… Regarding hot showers, I recommend showering before midnight, as there's no hot water afterwards, and the water pressure becomes very low (the picture shows the water flow from the showerhead). As for room cleaning, if you plan to sleep in late the next day or find it inconvenient to wake up early to let the cleaners in, you should definitely communicate this with the front desk in advance. I suspect the cleaning service is outsourced, so the guesthouse can't control when the cleaners arrive. They can only collect garbage bags from various rooms when they are on site. I've never encountered this situation before, so my mood at the time was a mix of complicated feelings, annoyance, and exhaustion 😪 (I had to deal with some things and didn't get to rest until 5 AM. In the morning, I was woken twice by people coming to clean the room while I was sleeping, and I had to force myself to get up to open the door… just for them to change the trash bags). After check-out, the front desk can help store your luggage, which was a nice touch 👌. In conclusion, the service attitude was good, and aside from some inconveniences with the facilities, it's a decent choice, depending on your budget."

"The hotel's location is excellent, and the entire decor has a Republican China-era style, which is very elegant and full of atmosphere. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a good variety of options. The service is exceptional; they contacted us in advance, provided a free room upgrade, offered shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and waived the parking fee. Makabaka was also very thoughtful and attentive, giving us guidance on touring the scenic area. Overall, we felt very much at home, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends."

"The room is great, and the location is excellent, right inside the Xizha scenic area. Staying at this hotel means you step out directly into the scenic area. When you're tired from exploring, it's a short walk back to the hotel to rest, which is very convenient. You can also take a free shuttle bus to the hotel, and the staff even personally pick you up and drop you off at the scenic area entrance, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast is rich and satisfying, and the service attitude is excellent. Very good."

"I booked this room for my family. Xiaodang, our butler at Tong'an, helped us with an upgrade, and we ended up in a Tong'an King Room, which was excellent. The room had a charming, antique feel and was much more spacious than the one at Zhushui. My family was very pleased. It's just a few steps from the Water Market, which was super convenient. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. Highly satisfied!"

"The hotel is located within the scenic area, and the shuttle bus service within the area is very convenient, with stops at the entrance of every hotel. Wangjinli Hotel is quite close to the filming location of 'Back to Field' (Xiang Wang Sheng Huo). This filming spot is currently open to the public for free visits only from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM; at other times, a purchase is required for entry. We booked a room on the first floor, which was a bit dim, and the facilities were decent but unremarkable. It's very convenient to walk to Wuzhen's busiest market street, just a few minutes away. The night market operates until about 8:30 PM, offering popular items like preserved vegetable cakes and lamb noodles. The hotel's service was excellent; I left a bag of lozenges behind, and they called to inquire. Upon realizing I had forgotten them, they even sent them to the service station for me to retrieve, which I greatly appreciate!"

"The hotel staff were very enthusiastic and the environment was clean and tidy. The room attendants cleaned very promptly and their work was professional. The air conditioning and bathroom facilities were excellent. The hotel has a large underground parking lot, which is convenient for those traveling by car. It's also very close to the West Gate entrance of Wuzhen, about a ten-minute walk. Highly recommended for accommodation when visiting Wuzhen."

"Facilities: The hotel is quite new, and compared to other hotels within Wuzhen, I feel its facilities are very well-maintained. There are three buildings in total; Building 3 is a bit further away. Luckily, we were assigned to Building 1 this time, which made getting around very convenient. Service: Overall, the service was excellent. We ordered room service, and the staff paid great attention to details when delivering the food, such as providing utensils and later collecting the trays. My only minor dissatisfaction was with the book borrowing service. I borrowed a book around 2 PM during my stay, but it remained in an 'unconfirmed' status until I checked out the next day. I assume this was due to the large number of guests over the New Year's Day holiday, making it difficult for them to process everything. If that's the case, I'd suggest temporarily taking this service offline until they have the capacity to manage it. After all, being able to borrow and read books at the hotel is part of Wuzhen's literary theme."
