It was affordable and actually good for a person to just sleep in for a night. I booked a personal room that has private bathroom, and it was not bad.

If you are looking for a clean comfortable bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchen very close to everything at a reasonable price, this is the place to be. It's not the Ritz by any stretch of the imagination, but it does the job. The check-in staff was courteous and helpful. Next time I am in Toronto, I will definitely book at the Dragon Gate Inn.

The location is great! Kitchen is fine. Staff is friendly and courteous. Toilet is dirty and hair dryer in the toilet is not working.

Good place near a lot of local locations. Recommended. Front door is hard to find, only has a white piece of paper on it indicating the name of the inn. Staff is helpful and let us leave our bags in the office early before checking in. Some minor technical difficulties with the room door but overall not a big problem. Wifi sometimes a tiny bit slow but functional. Didn’t manage to take a photo of the room, but online it said it had a stove but there was no stove in the actual room.

Located in the Old Toronto area, the location is very convenient. It takes no more than 30 minutes to walk to any place in downtown. Chinatown is 5 minutes away, and Queen Street is on the next street. However, the location is a typical poor old community. The security is not good at night, and there are many drunks and homeless people asking for money. The room is big, but no one will come to clean it. Basic shower facilities are complete. There is a laundry shop opposite, and it costs CA$5 to wash a machine. There is a convenience store in front that sells laundry balls. The refrigerator in the room I stayed in had problems and was very noisy. I have a mysophobia, so I brought my own towels, and it is best to bring my own sheets and quilts. In short, don't look at it with the mood of staying in a hotel. The location is not a commercial area. It is not bad to calculate it based on the price.

The price is too expensive for a room like this even though the location is strategic near downtown
