The St. Regis Toronto

Downtown Toronto Toronto|1.64km from Legislative Assembly of Ontario
Possibly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. However, I can’t give full 5 stars to Hotel St. Regis Toronto for reasons that I’ll explain later. On the subject of location, the Hotel St. Regis in Toronto is in a very fantastic location in downtown Toronto with many of the city’s main sights and attractions (CN Tower, St. Lawrence’s Market and Yonge-Dundas square) all within short walking distance from this hotel. Readily accessible through RideShare apps too. Regarding staff, they were super friendly and helpful, in our experience. We initially had some debit card issues at check-in and admittedly, we should have been better-prepared for the credit card culture in North America. Thankfully, St. Regis were very flexible and our debit card issues were eventually resolved. I’m truly impressed by how accommodating St. Regis are for those of us who are from places that very rarely use credit cards. The offer of complimentary water at check-in was also appreciated. The housekeeping team, especially the Filipinos, were very thorough, kept our suite spotless and respected guest privacy. And on check-out experience, this is where St. Regis Toronto loses points for me. The check-out process took way longer than what is typically expected especially for a 5-star location (should be <10 min but took about 30 min for us). Unfortunately, a bit of the little time we have left in Toronto was wasted. What’s also disappointing was this time, there was no offer of complimentary drinks (even tap water, which is free and generally safe to drink in Toronto) while we wait. Admittedly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly stressed during the time we were trying to check-out but I hope the situation improves for the St. Regis Toronto team in the future. On the atmosphere, it was magnificent and luxurious. These two words came to mind when we first entered the lobby. The grandiose look of Hotel St. Regis in Toronto permeated the whole building, from the hallways to our suite. In terms of our room, we booked the Grand Suite which was on the 28th floor and the views from up there, especially at night, were phenomenal. Our suite was very spacious and generally had plenty of storage room. St. Regis Toronto also loses some points here when it comes to storage since we found that there was insufficient storage space for cold items and there was no freezer either. The heated floors and the walk-in shower were also fantastic. The accent wall, mood lighting, clever use of marble for the room design and chandeliers were wonderful touches too, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of this hotel. The living area of the Grand Suite was our favourite area, especially at night. I’m going to mention the views from the Grand Suite again as they were truly spectacular. On the online engagement. at the time of writing, I found the low level of engagement by St. Regis Toronto with online reviewers here at Google disappointing. I think the hotel should make more of an eff

DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Downtown

Downtown Toronto
The location of this hotel is unbeatable, easily accessible from Toronto Pearson International Airport by UP Express and the subway. And has lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly service and thanks for the free, warm cookie! The room and furniture were a bit dated, and the bedding was not as smooth as I wanted it to be, but I could bear with it for two nights. I will consider staying here again next time I go to Toronto. :)

The hotel is located at the intersection of Metro Line 1 and Line 2: 300 meters outside Bloor-Yonge Station, and a small black building in the alley. Outside the window, the green leaves are sparse. Retro-old old-fashioned telephone, some very literary thick books. The most amazing thing is that there's a vinyl record. Pull it out of the cover and put it on the Crosley disc. Enjoy. No coffee maker, instant coffee available in the cockroach. However, the kettle is SMEG, an Italian luxury brand.

Because the hotel is just across the road and close to the subway station, the facilities introduced are also good, so I chose this hotel without hesitation. After I stayed, I felt very bad. It was the worst hotel I stayed in in Canada. I checked in the first night. We checked in at Niagara Falls and it was almost nine o'clock in the evening. We booked a double bed. The room was gone, and Ctrip could only change rooms the next day after the negotiation, and the trouble caused naturally need not be said; the next morning, I found that there was a reminder of the consumer text message at 3 o'clock in the hotel on the credit card. How to get it out was inexplicable, and it scared me to quickly close the credit card transaction function. Later, I was fortunate to have Ctrip help to solve it in a timely manner; I finally changed to a twin room the next night. Unexpectedly, this room was near the subway and it was too noisy to sleep all night . Fortunately, we stayed at this hotel for only two days! The most profound lesson is that when you deposit at the front desk of the hotel lobby, do not leave your credit card with your credit card, and do not easily give it to the front desk customer service. Special thanks also to Ctrip's customer service for helping to solve all the problems effectively and timely!

I was very impressed with this hotel since I used to stay at the hotel when it was the Intercontinental. They spruced it up a bit with some paint and lighter hallways but really it was the service that impressed me. All the staff I came in contact with were excellent. The room was bright and comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little old as the shower door felt like it would fall off it’s hinges and gone were the luxury soaps creams and shampoos from the IC. No frills but if you asked for a bathrobe they brought it up. Fridge was not working but the Nespresso machine was. Never ending great coffee was a big plus too. I tried room service twice as I was working in the room during the day and the food, while limited, was delicious. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel as the location can’t be beat as well.

The entrance is not easy to find, and you have to check in after 15:00, and you will have to pay extra at other times. The packages are more suitable for couples or families, but may not be suitable for singles.
