Burleigh House

We have stayed at Burleigh House many times and always enjoyed it, this year was no different. The owners are very friendly and helpful, so easy to chat to. Breakfast is amazing and set us up for the day - the bacon was cooked exactly as requested. We had a great stay and will definitely return, many thanks Ellen, Nigel and Elaine.

We stay regularly at the Burleigh. Its brilliant. Comfortable, friendly and a fabulous location. The team are second to none and with such a reasonable rate and excellent breakfast, what's not to like?

My wife and I have just returned from our stay at Burleigh House B&B. Having a carpark at the back was an added bonus. We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at the B&B. Throughout it was very clean and our room was comfortable. Ellen and Elaine who run the B&B were very helpful and knowledgeable about the best places to visit. The cooked breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Thanks to Nigel Outside, there is a bus stop, which is convenient to travel into Torquay and beyond. A few minutes walk away is Torre railway station. We can highly recommend you stay at Burleigh House when in the area.

We stayed at Burleigh house for a few days. Parking at the back was a bonus, which was appreciated. We were received with a warm welcome.The accommodation was clean throughout, and our room was serviced daily. The owners were friendly and helpful. The preordered breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Having a bus stop on the doorstep and rail station nearby has handy. Highly recommend you visit when in the area.

Great B&B with lovely owners. Stayed four nights and would return again. Location out of Torquay centre but on the No 12 bus route which runs about every 12 mins around Torbay and on to Newton Abbott. Thus it was sometimes easier to get the bus than drive. Room 9 was excellent with good storage and a large en suite shower room. Some road noise but quiet at night. Parking at rear is secluded which is particularly helpful for motorcycles. It also has CCTV. There are lots of hotels B&B’s etc but I would definitely stay here again

I’ve lost count of how many years we’ve stayed here! Great location, bus stop at the end of the drive and a 2 minute walk to the train station. We leave the car in the private car park and don’t use it again until we leave! The hosts are fabulous! Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable of the local area and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely clean bedrooms and en-suites with a delicious choice of breakfast. We will return again next year! Many thanks for another great stay!

Spacious and well maintained rooms. Comfortable bed. Staff are very friendly and efficient in their service.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival well before check in time and were able to park up while we went out for the day. Room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and always on time. Totally stress free and friendly atmosphere. Excellent value for money. We will stay again next time in Torquay and would recommend to others unreservedly.

Fabulous weekend break in Torquay. We had 5* treatment right from our arrival. Nice comfortable clean room with sizeable en suite. Breakfast a real treat inc a good selection for a full English . Family management and very hospitable . Well situated for local direct bus service to Paignton Brixham …. 200 yards from Torre railway station…. Exeter Plymouth etc. Perfect weekend break. Thanks.
