Mount Edgcombe was completely perfect and we would highly recommend. It has lovely bright and spacious rooms and a cosy home feel to it. We arrived as a late check in and the hosts were very kind and accommodating. They even upgraded our room which was so appreciated. Thank you very much and we will definitely look to stay again next time we are travelling to Devon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mount Edgcombe. Jo & Darren are fab hosts, the rooms are spotless and super comfy, the food was amazing and the drinks were even better! Great location, a short walk from the seafront. Can’t wait for our next stay ☺️

Another excellent stay with Jo and Darren lovely friendly guest house, the hotel Is lovely and clean with a big car park and an exceptionally good breakfast also giving you various breakfast times so that you can have breakfast to suit either very early or later , the hotel Is situated in a perfect position close to the beach around 8 minutes walk and roughly the same to the train station which opens lots of options for exploring the area and different seaside towns, it is also a short walk into town to the restaurants and pubs all in all my wife and I love this guest house and I’m sure we will be going back, try it you will be very pleased you did the hosts are super people and will go out of there way to make you happy top marks from us thank you

A warm welcome from Jo and Darren on our third stay at Mount Edgcombe. As usual our room, 5, was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. Hopefully we will be returning to Torquay next year and we will definitely be ringing this outstanding guest house.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Mount Edgcombe in Torquay! From the moment I arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. My room was lovely—spacious, with a very comfy bed and plenty of tea, coffee, water, and biscuits. The atmosphere throughout my 2 night stay was warm and inviting. Breakfast each morning was absolutely outstanding, and I even treated to beautiful dinners on two evenings. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed; nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Mount Edgcombe for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Torquay!

Fantastic breakfast, immaculately clean and good hospitality. A good location for visiting the sites of South Devon. The room was spacious and well equipped . Fresh milk in the fridge instead of long life UHT was a plus ! Booked direct with the hosts.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mount Edgcombe. The place has the highest standards of cleanliness and facilities. The breakfast was also amazing with a good selection of items, all prepared completely fresh using the best quality ingredients. Above all, Darren and Jo are the most warm, welcoming hosts who did not spare anything to make sure things were just right for us during our stay. Would highly recommend this place and would stay here every time we are in these parts.

Lovely week as always at this fabulous place. Good to see Jo and Darren again and sample their great hospitality. So many returning guests and no wonder,spotlessly clean rooms and a delicious breakfast,nothing is too much trouble. Can't wait to return
