I will start with the good points first, the hotel location for us was good it was within walking distance to the beach and not too far from the railway station. In the main the hotel staff were very good and helped to the limit of their capacity. Unfortunately from then on in the experience was absolutely appalling, in my opinion the hotel is operated purely for the benefit of the hotel and customers take second place. The room we had was new but unfortunately not finished and lacked many of the features we had specifically required and had ungraded and paid to have. Missing items , mini bar, kettle, hair dryer and coffee making facilities, when these points raised with Jet2 rep, I was advised I had to order the mini bar (no mention of this beforehand and I have never know this practice in any other hotel). Next day a kettle arrived (looked like it was borrowed from the maintenance guys workshop). Two days later a hair dryer was installed (the dust from the drilling was never cleaned up). The room had also not been deep cleaned after the building works. In the Jet2 advertised detail there was mention that the pool bar is open from May-September (at hotels discretion) what it failed to mention was that if pool bar was open the main bar may not be! Which for the period of our stay it never opened, which meant going down a flight of external steps to the pool bar to obtain a self served drink, I hasten to add in a plastic tumbler! Which you had to give a one euro deposit for ! I do not like drinking from plastic tumblers at the best of times, but do when safety is a priority. The food was not great and this was a significant issue with the hot food temperature at the hot plates. The ongoing building works was never mentioned by Jet2 and there was dust and paint everywhere around the pool area, but for us due to our room location was the two rooms next to us were still having building works completed and the noise and bust was awful! The final issue in my mind is serious and that was the total lack of Health and Safety and compliance with basic fire regulations, had I been in the uk I would have called the relevant authorities. All in all Jet2 and the hotel let us down terribly. I would NOT RECOMMEND.
