We spent a night at the wonderful Torridon on the recommendation of our son who had visited recently. We live in the north of Scotland so took advantage of the wonderful weather currently. From start to finish our trip was wonderful. We know the area well so were aware of the stunning location but the incredible weather made the scenery even more spectacular. From welcome by Fadzai to check out the following the day we were made extremely welcome by the staff all of whom are very friendly. Duncan the sommelier in Bo’ and Muc was another staff member who stood out too. We had a lovely room in the Stables - an amazingly comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The Torridon is surrounded by hills and Loch Torridon and the opportunity for outdoor activities are endless. The hotel provides a walking trail map of those which are accessible from the hotel grounds too. Our only regret is that we were only there for one night but we will definitely be back.

We’ve came here 3 years ago so decided to come back. What’s changed. Not a lot it’s still an amazing location. Needs painting in places which is noticeable. We had breakfast in the main house and one dinner at 1887. Rest of the time we ate in Bo &Muc My feedback is the staff at the Bo & Muc are much more in the ball than the main house. The food in 1887 was lovely but twice we asked the server for another bottle of wine in 1887 and it never appeared. Breakfast felt like hard work. The staff in the main house lacked initiative. We were left waiting to even get a seat despite the server seeing us until the manager gave them a nudge. Asked for toast with my scrambled eggs but it came way after I had finished. Toast was then delivered but no butter, coffee delivered but no milk. Just felt like the 1887 staff are just not thinking. Not the same in Bo & Muc this is a slick operation and the French manager is on it 110%. We were blessed with amazing weather but the glass 1887 restaurant was boiling and no one opened the windows, there were no blinds one couple were actually eating breakfast with sunglasses on and a number of people asked to be moved. I think anywhere else you wouldn’t worry but this is not a cheap please to visit. Service in breakfast and 1887 needs to improve.

We came to celebrate a 60th Birthday and stayed for three nights. We ate in the 1887 Restaurant and the Bo & Muc. The service was excellent from the moment we were warmly welcomed by Fadzai, through attentive service from Leafar, informative and entertaining Whisky tasting from Luis, accomodating arrangements by Connor, and friendly & personable approach from Oliver. The landscape is incredible and the food, hotel, and accommodation are very special - thank you.

The whole experience was delightful. From the warm welcome to the beautiful room it could not have been nicer. We had a lovely meal in the Bo and Muc restaurant followed by some whisky tasting in the very well stocked whisky bar.The staff are so knowledgeable about the drinks their serving which added to the theatre of it all. To top it off the sun shone the whole time which made truly a Magical stay.

What a gorgeous hotel on a beautiful salt water loch. The hotel is an old hunting lodge (looks more like a mansion) built in the late 1800s. The architecture and interior detail is stunning as well as the property. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Fadzia, the front desk manager, was gracious and helpful. There are two dining areas, both were excellent. Many of the items are sourced from their own garden. The property is gorgeous with gardens and highland cows. There are hiking trails all around including several that start from the hotel.

An afternoon tea for a friend's birthday. It was nice to get dressed up on the most perfect summery day and sit down to an afternoon tea. Everything was set out perfectly and very attentive staff. My friends dietary requirements were taken well into account and made to feel very inclusive to the experience and each item explained to us. The lady we had was new to the job but was very friendly and made sure our tea was always topped up. Each item of food was delicious and presented nicely. A walk round the grounds and garden made the whole experience very relaxing.

If you're looking for the perfect blend of gourmet dining, outdoor adventure, and an amazing selection of whiskey, look no further. The Torridon has it all! The food is spectacular—creative and flavorful in the 1887 restaurant and a more relaxed atmosphere in the Bo & Muc along with its cozy pub. The outdoor activities offered here are a huge highlight. From guided hikes and kayaking to just relaxing by the scenic trails. Veshengo is super knowledgeable about the natural history and current nature of the area, friendly, and a treat to be with. We spent two days with him and wish we had more time! The whiskey bar is not just a bar—it's an experience. With an amazing bartender, Shane, who knows his craft incredibly well, can recommend just the right whiskey for you and make you feel welcome. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

What a fantastic place. this was for my 40th birthday as part of trip around Scotland and it didn't let us down. Everything here is 5 star, service, food and the rooms are amazing, we had a deluxe room in the hotel. They even sorted out a birthday cake for me and had us sat outside with a firepit and the view to ourselves. Would not hesitate to return. lovely walks from the hotel as well including a waterfall.

An iconic location set next to Loch Torridon. From beginning to end our stay was unbeatable. Our room was spotless and spacious, with wonderful views out to Liathatch. Dinner at Bo and Muc and breakfast in the morning were both delicious. The hotel is set within large grounds with walks out along the Loch. Service is impeccable.
