Old manor completely renovated, surrounded by a beautiful garden and great sea views. Bedroom is delicious - although no King Size bed- bathroom fully modernized. Shower water pressure is weak… Common areas are very nice, you can watch the sunset from the terrace… Delicious beakfast. Parking on the premises. Easy dining walking distance. But most of all we were made to feel like family by Andrew .

I have stayed in a number of hotels in the past 40 years and this is the best by far! Fantastic staff, room and location. Very welcoming and rooms are as if they have just been decorated, absolutely immaculate and have an exceptionally comfortable bed (which is not very often the case). We will definitely return.

Warm and friendly welcome from our hosts - Steve & Wendy. We felt like we had met old friends where nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed meals at the sister hotel - The Albion in Freshwater Bay and had delicious breakfasts cooked up by Steve. We even swam in Totland Bay each morning which was as invigorating as it was enjoyable. If you want an oasis ‘away from it all’ then come to Sentry Mead - smile, relax and unwind.

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked Sentry Mead but from the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen well. The welcome was warm and we were shown thoughtfully around the facilities before going to our room. The whole place was spotless and the decor thoughtful and homely. Nice garden to enjoy in the evening too and a well stocked honesty bar is a nice touch. It’s a short stroll to Totland Bay and a couple of places to eat down there. We were only here one night but would happily have stayed longer. Breakfast was a good choice for a small place and the service was attentive and friendly. Steve and Wendy are welcoming and attentive and look as if they will maintain the high standards this award winning place has enjoyed. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic boutique style B&B, everything was perfect about our stay from the booking in, the room extras, great choice of breakfast hot or cold dishes freshly cooked. Recently refurbished accommodation with a beautiful choice of decor and furniture, spotlessly clean. Wendy & Steve are super hosts very ably assisted by Brigitte

Really excellent hotel. Wendy and Steve are fantastic hosts and made us so welcome. Rooms very well appointed and comfortable. I would recommend you stay here because you won’t be disappointed! Breakfast is delicious, perhaps the best cooked breakfast we’ve ever had!

We stayed there for a week and found everything about the hotel was excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the choice of breakfast was much more than adequate and a special shout for Bridget who was lovely and served our breakfast each day. The hotel is literally minutes from the sea front and we understand that the frequent buses from close by will take you to anywhere on the island if you don't want to drive. Overall, the great place to stay.

Our stay at Sentry Mead certainly helped to make it extra special. A delightful hotel which has thought of everything. Tasteful and high quality refurb last year. All the staff were so warm and welcoming. Best cooked breakfast I’ve had for a while and very good eggs Benedict.
