"The restaurant staff were helpful and friendly and food was to a good standard. Unfortunately we booked the hotel for its spa/pool facilities to be informed the day before that the spa was out of action due to a fault. On arrival we were informed this included the pool, however should be open the next day. Again the night after our stay a note was put up to state it was out of order on both days. Whilst we understand faults can take place, it's disappointing to book a hotel for its facilities and for none to be available when travelling with a child and this resulted in an early exit due to lack of facilities."

"Whole site is cashless. I had a room with shared bathroom. I paid for basic room and was not disappointed. Thankfully since my last stay a few months previously, televisions have been put into these type rooms too. I did not eat breakfast as they do not cater for coeliac vegetarians."

"Visiting the area and called late on a Friday to see if any tables free and to our delight they managed to find us a table. When we arrived, were shown into the Old Alley restaurant which was busy and a lovely buzzy feel to it. Very friendly , welcoming staff. Had a great choice on the menu and enjoyed Fish and chips. As Creme Brulee was on the menu (my absolute favourite) I chose it. Waiter came back to say there was an issue with the grill so I asked for it without the brulee. Still the best one I have ever had. So great to visit a place where the staff are so upbeat and friendly, not to mention excellent at their jobs."

"Slept very well, the bed was so comfortable. Good strong complimentary coffees. Greeted by the Host upon arrival. She was friendly and full of smiles. Good shower power. Make sure to take your own steamer/iron and hairdryer as the one available in the room wasn't powerful enough and I have short hair. PS - No complementary biscuits were available just incase if you fancy nibbling on something after a long journey. Overall we had a good 2 nights. Plus free parking outside the premises was very convenient."
