Best Hotels near La Rue des Azes, Toulouse

Located right in the center of everything. Great access to activities and sights. Could not ask for a better location. Great Staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Terrific breakfast. Great selection and superb quality. I wish I could eat there every day! Decent room. I would stay here again, except for one thing. My only complaint was the Air Conditioning was turned off for the season, which meant a hot room with poor sleep. And poor sleep is not a desirable feature in a hotel room! While the windows did open, being in a room on Floor 1 along rue Romiguières means keeping the window open isn't a real option, as the constant roar of scooters (which is completely absorbed when the windows are closed) prevented that. SO I would stay there again but would call first to see if they have the AC turned off. If it is, I will stay elsewhere.

Very central location, all at less than 10 minutes, very rich breakfast and all the receptionists very attentive and speaking English/Spanish/Catalano free parking area at 10 minutes the room is large enough for 2 people with very kitchen Equipment prepared to cook the room

👍🏻 First time in the hotel apartment, the studio is large with 1 kitchen stay and one room. The kitchen is super-equipped and you can do everything: from coffee to eggs to dishes. 👍🏽 Heating and air conditioning included. Stillness of the rooms. The hotel is well served by buses and metro to go to the city centre, and around there are shops, cake shops, supermarkets, kebabs or bars. 👎 There was a very bad litter and the covers were full of old customers' hair.

Liked - Facilities in very good condition, as well as the room. The room offers all the conditions for eating meals right there. The breakfast is reasonable, but expensive. The location is great since is 10-15mints walking to the center, has a pharmacy and supermarket near by. Disliked - The photos on Booking don't match what we found, as the room for two people is much smaller than the photo on the website. In addition, Booking doesn't mention the pre-authorization ”debit” of 150.00e, which is not refunded to us on the last day, but when your bank released (2 days and still awaiting). This informations can only be found in the document sent by the apartment, and of course in small print. Another aspect that is not mentioned is the cleanliness of the room, which must be taken care of by the guests.

Very nice establishment, excellent location just between rhe place Wilson, Place Saint Georges. Fine minutes walk to the place of Capitole. The staff is very professionnal, the kind of personal we only find in a 5 stars hotel. Excellent advice for visiting the town. I started with a city tour wirh th lillte train! I love the decoration of the hotel. The bar. The room is very nice with confortable mastress. Fridge with juices, soft drinks, water.), Coffee, à safe. Nice bathroom.

The room and facilities are all of a very high standard with plenty of room to make oneself comfortable. The Fitness centre was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast was very good though more hot options during the winter months would be nice. The staff were all smart, polite and pleasant to deal with. Opposite the railway station and metro gives quick access to the city and beyond whilst, for the fit, it is a short walk to the centre. The lights in the fitness centre are on a sensor/timer. This was a cause for concern when the lights went off in the sauna as there was no movement outside. I mentioned this to the reception at the time.

Don’t Bother! My husband and I booked one night here, thankfully, and the hotel check in guy was so horrible. We walked in and he said we owed for 3 nights before he would check us in. We had originally booked for 2 nights but we had cancelled one. He insisted we owed and would not back down. He was exceedingly rude. My husband went back to the car and found the cancellation so he said we owed for 2 nights one with hotels.com which we use and another from Expedia which we NEVER use. We argued and he finally looked at his watch and said, “Well you are lucky, it’s before 3:00pm so you can cancel. We were mortified at his rudeness and said we thought he owed us an apology which he flat out refused. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but when we got to the very cramped room the carpet was filthy. Disgustingly filthy! We only took off our shoes in the bathroom to shower. The next day the same ride young man was there again and still very unpleasant. We asked for the manager to make our feelings known. He went in and talked to her. We don’t know what he said to her but her attitude was cold as ice. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

As the picture shows, this is an IHG hotel in an architecturally lovely building on one corner of Place du Capitole, the main square in Toulouse which also houses the Town Hall, many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and polite and always wishing to help whether at Reception, the Bar or on Housekeeping duty. The bedrooms ( we had 536 ) which had 2 double beds, tv, fridge with daily water, tea / coffee station, a very comfortable armchair, desk and office chair. The bathroom was standard and met expectations. Housekeeping was excellent. The lounge / bar area was rather quaint but adequate and a fitness room was in the basement ( we did not use ). Breakfast was also downstairs and consisted of a hot / cold buffet style with a selection of cereals, fruit/ breads /pastries etc. Egg options available on request. Similar every day but more than adequate. Top Tip - if travelling from the airport, take the Tram ( T1 ) to Arenes and then transfer to the Metro to Capitole and then a short 5 minute walk to Place du Capitole and the hotel ( ticket 1.70 euros ...taxi 25 euros ! ) The hotel is also near all the main attractions with the main railway station about 20 mins away via Joan of Arc Square. Finally, the FREE electric minibus passes through the Square every 15 mins. Wave it down to stop and then enjoy a gratis tour of Toulouse to get your bearings. It will even stop just outside the hotel. Enjoy.

I thought the location was perfect as it is only 15 minutes from the airport, and about 15 minutes from city centre - tram is right outside hotel, which was brilliant! The hotel is clean but very basic, the only hotel I have ever stayed at with no room service, bed not done the next day and no fresh towels provided other than when you check in. Didn’t expect the bed to be so close to the door when we entered the room and the bed was a small double so didn’t get a great night sleep either. I wish I could give a better review because the staff were all so lovely and welcoming and helpful, but I’m being as honest as I can for others. Karina on check in and throughout our trip was so helpful and friendly- she really gave us good tips on getting around Toulouse and what to see etc. hotel full of friendly, lovely staff but as for the hotel - unlikely to stay here again!
