The hotel is about 20 minutes on foot from the core area of Aochuan. The nearest bus stop is Shiwada Onsen Township Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. The hotel is halfway up the mountain and not in the core area of the hot spring town. The surrounding environment is good. The rooms are large and the facilities are quite complete, especially the dinner provided by the hotel is superb and the breakfast is very good; the hotel has indoor and open air, but the open air scenery is just like the general. There is also a traffic information to share with you. The hotel provides free pick-up service from New Aomori, Aomori Station (13:30) and Hachinohe Station (11:00), but the pick-up time is a bit embarrassing, not very good to arrange follow-up activity. In addition, I have to spit it out. When I contacted Aomori Station, the customer service provided by Ctrip provided an error message, saying that Aomori Station did not provide pick-up. I took a train from Aomori Station to Shin-Aomori and took the shuttle bus. The result was followed by the connection. The bus took a ride back to Aomori Station, wasting time and fare.

Lovely place. There are very few places (if any) open during winter here. So I recommend you bring your own food or drive to nearby towns.
The hotel was lovely. Quiet, so had the onsen to myself. Traditional room, spacious and with air con. Highly recommend.

GGuest UserThis is a very old Japanese style hotel, but staff are all very nice with good services provided. The hotel is close to the walking path which allows you for enjoy hiking with you friends.
But one thing need to be considered, which is toilet, the room itself doesn’t has toilet, you have to use public toilet which locates on the same floor of your room. Even though you have to clean up yourself in the morning, you have to use the public toilet or go to onsen to makeup yourself.

The meal is simple but very attentive, delicious! In addition, the bathroom is built with a large bathtub, which is a bit rudimentary. During our booking, there's no any comment from trip.com, but we saw the location and Japan hotel website reviews are not bad, we never regret to choose this hidden gem stay! This stay operated by a family, they're friendly, communication wise main by translate apps. During our stay, there's only we 1 family, we deeply enjoyed the privacy. The ryokan is sparkling clean, onsen is real best & clean, foods are the BEST local foods. To go this place, suggest to self drive. Unfortunately after we left, the stay close for winter rest. I'll definitely come back to this for next
