Very nice Japanese hotel with good service and facilities (public hot spring bath where women and men are separate and several private hot spring baths that I recommend to book in advance). We also had an amazing massage in the hotel spa. The down side would be that the hotel doesn't offer western beds (only Japansese futons) and that the personnel doesn't speak very good English (but are very nice and are trying their best to help)

The location of the hotel is very remote, and it takes 15 minutes to walk from the center! The exterior and lobby are probably renovated and very beautiful, but the room is a bit hard to describe. The ventilation system of the toilet is not good and smells, and there are traces of something spilled on the carpet in the room! Maybe it was ordered from abroad, and the dinner was Western food. The two of us and another group (probably also from China) originally wanted to eat Japanese food at the famous hot spring resort, but they were given Western food without asking! The breakfast buffet is very, very average, and it feels a bit not worth spending so much time and money!
