Beautiful setting, fabulous ambiance and a fantastic combination of charm & professionalism, extremely romantic as well as modern plus extraordinary comfort. The Main Reception ist 5 star service. Brilliant cuisine and helpful service. Rooms are very clean and stylish (some more additional hooks in/at the wall in bathroom and entrance space would be nice.

About everything in this hotel is perfect. The room was spacious and very clean and silent (triple glazing). The spa is amazing. Staff is very friendly. The food was excellent with sufficient choice on the daily menu. Great location for hiking and winery visits.

We’ve previously visited as a couple and had a lovely time. The best thing was the consistency of the experience, it was always good. Unfortunately the hotel is having staffing issue which spoiled the stay. This was a working vacation, and so I was also disappointed to get a dark room with no view and no AC - Not a good start. Every day my dinner was rushed. Over the course of 1 week, on 3 occasions I had all 3 courses brought to me inside 25 mins. When I complained the restaurant said no managers were on duty. I eventually spoke to the overall manager several times. Things didn’t improve. I stayed for a week, and planned a spa treatment each day. Some were excellent, some were plain awful. The inconsistency was just so frustrating. At the end of the week I sat down with the manager to explain my concerns, especially valid as we had 2 bookings coming up as a couple. He assured me he would get back to me and address the issues, he never did. We’ve now cancelled all our plans to return. It’s very sad, we feel we’ve lost a friend, but it’s just too bad that the hotel can’t secure the right staff to uphold the standard it aims for. We wish them all the best.

Great hotel and spa, breakfast and three course dinner were delicious. Hotel was very accommodating with a larger group for dinner. Recommend the sauna meister and the indoor/outdoor pool. Also close proximity to the river and wineries.

Beautiful Hotel with great rooms However the evening meal and the service do not meet up to the price asked or the 4star sup category What a pity! The dinner service is a disgrace! You have to consider yourself lucky to find someone who speaks German.

If you want to relax, this is an absolute fantastic place. Spend three days with my wife here to do as little as possible and just enjoy the view, the spa and the relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is clean and well-equipped, the spa is brilliant, and the view is great. Why not five stars, then? When we arrived, the very friendly receptionist told us we could reach out if we had any needs. At bedtime on the first day, we learned that the room was crazy hot. More than 25 degrees, we could see and feel. We asked the receptionist how to turn on the A/C, as it did not run. Unfortunately, we couldn't. The central system was still not turned on, as 'it was still not hot enough during nights for the system to be turned on'. Our room was directly above the spa and facing the sun... so it was boiling. But there was nothing to do and we asked several times. The manager had decided the system should not be turned on. This is an example of a very modest request that was not met, and I don't understand it. It makes the difference between a perfect stay and a good stay. We got a discount of 40 euros, which is ridiculous when we paid around 1700 euros. It is better not to give any at all, then. I regret sharing this experience because it is a nice hotel, and the staff is super friendly, but my stay was not perfect.
