Very comfortable room with a little balcony and right opposite the cathedral, very close to plenty of restaurants and a few steps from the sea or the old town but quiet in the evening (we were there out of season), being at the end of the seafront. Pleasant, helpful staff. If you want cooked eggs/milk etc at breakfast, just ask. We recommend the nearby Giù a Sud restaurant!

We were ecstatic about this hotel, all rooms have beautiful views, the facilities were excellent (a bath!), the staff very nice and helpful. It spoilt us for the rest of our holiday. The drivers they found for us were also really good and not expensive. Breakfast was very good indeed. The only downside was the restaurant, which we found disappointing but there were many other choices in Trani. We will go back

The hotel is located on the sea front in Trani - just a few minutes walk to the town and harbour and 20 minutes from the railway station. We had a "comfort" room which had great views over the sea. Located next to the hotel is a church. The bells are switched off between 10pm and 7am but, at 7am you'll be treated to a cacophony of bells. Around the bath was copious amounts of black mold. We stayed for four nights. On the first three nights the bath towels were more like hand towels and the hand towels the size of face cloths. However, on the final night, one of the bath towels was actually a bath towel size - but the other remained that of the smaller variety. We noticed a few ants - in the bathroom and on the bed. On the day of departure our suitcase was crawling with ants - inside and out. A notice in your bedroom advises of the options for breakfast. Eggs are mentioned. It would appear that you need to ask for them at breakfast time. They are not offered to you. We ordered a poached egg. It was cold,raw and "snotty". Also, at breakfast, you had to ask for milk when you had cereals - none was freely available. It could be such a nice hotel if they looked at the attention to detail

We cannot praise this hotel highly enough. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful and the room was great with wonderful views of the ocean and the magnificent cathedral. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was top class for dinner. It surely has to be one of the best places to stay in this beautiful town. Possibly the only criticism could be that the shower is quite small and slippery ( until we noticed a non slip mat supplied in a basket in the corner of the bathroom ).

The hotel offers a high standard of customer service! We really appreciated the free fresh drinking water and nibbles in the room. The room had a lovely view and it was very spacious. If I had to visit Trani again I will definitely stay at Palazzo Filisio.

Perfect location in beautiful city and just 15 minutes walk from the train station. Room 24 is a spacious and well-appointed corner room with magnificent views.Staff at the hotel are lovely and the restaurant was excellent. Delicious breakfast included and dinner menu beautifully prepared and presented.

Small 4 star hotel in the best location in Trani: literally opposite the cathedral, with lovely views of the latter and the sea. It is also the slightly quieter part of town, which means a restful sleep. Renovated in 2018, rooms of all categories are comfortable and airy. The hotel's Regia Restaurant is excellent. We had the sampling menu, which was excellent in quality and value. The cuisine is very much based on local ingredients (Fish in particular was really good) but presented more elegantly than your average eatery. Service was also very professional and advice on local wines was first class, with the restaurant suggesting a local red and a white, which I later found recommended by Decanter magazine in an article on Puglia wines. The area also makes some rather fine roses. Overall a very happy experience.

Praticamente attaccato alla famosa Cattedrale, l’Hotel è la base ideale per visitare Trani. Affacciato sul mare da un lato e sul complesso della Cattedrale dall’altro, l’hotel offre livelli elevati in termini di comfort e pulizia. Ho particolarmente apprezzato la sollecitudine con cui gli addetti alla reception ci hanno offerto massimo supporto e assistenza in occasione di un malessere passeggero capitato a mia moglie, si sono prodigati per aiutarci a risolvere tutto al meglio. Ottima la colazione e l’annesso ristorante

A Trani in uno scenario da Mille e una notte, sorge il Filisio un hotel dal fascino unico e senza tempo. Questo imponente edificio dallo stile ripico di Trani offre una splendida posizione, circondato da meraviglie del mare e dalla vicinanza alla Cattedrale è una meraviglia. Un soffio Pugliese, una brezza Adriatica, un'atmosfera fiabesca nella camere da Mille e Una Notte. Professionale il servizio appena arrivati, Professionale il servizio colazioni e anche soprattutto la grande pulizia delle camere impeccabili e ben curate in ogni dettaglio. Piccolo ma con tanta passione verso una grande qualità. La prima Colazione in Hotel è uno degli aspetti più ricercati dai clienti e in questo posto straordinario lo abbiamo trovato.
