We selected the Kerledan as a central place from which to explore Brittany. It was a great location, but so much more. It is an idyllic setting with lots of room to roam around. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts are superb. Geraldine is a gracious hostess who was very helpful in advising on venues - both before our visit and during. Close to Carhaix where there are many restaurants and grocers. Unfortunately, we were there on days when dinner was served - I'll bet they were delicious.

The Manior de Kerleden was a delight. We loved our room (Coatgourdan). Breakfast was delicious, the hostess was congenial and helpful. The manor is located on the edge of town but it is easy to access restaurants in Carhaix. Beautiful garden to boot.

We stayed at this Manoir on our circular tour of Bretagne making use of the fabulous véloroutes and voies vertes. The obvious attraction is that the V7 Roscoff to Concarneau passes the end of the drive!. However when we plan these holidays we don't just look at location but also look for unique experiences of high quality. Manoir de Kerledan is defintely that. The welcome from Geraldine was fantastic as she welcomed us to her lovely Manoir - beautifully decorated, comfortable and full of charm. It was one of the best stays of our 11 day trip and without hesitation highly recommend. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We chose the 15th century historic Manoir de Kerledan as it was in the countryside and we wished to be located in a position to visit Locranon, Domaine de Trevarez,Hougoat and Valley of Saints. We needed all five nights to visit these landmarks in a leisurely way. Our room was spacious and importantly the bed comfortable with quality linen. We were a little surprised that we were only given a minuscule shampoo soap rather than liquid shampoo but it sufficed. The breakfasts were quite traditional with Breton cake, pikelets and pancakes. However the yogurts fresh fruit juice and baguette were more than adequate for what was a continental breakfast. We chose to have in house dinner at €26 on two of our five nights and the only criticism we had was the chicken and trout were very dry. The gardens and surroundings had many aspects to them and divided Into a number of sections to portray this - this was wonderful feature of the property and in the evening you could sit outside at the front of the house and relax with a circular fountain added to your view. Geraldine was a welcoming engaging and professional host

I stayed here on a cycle trip with friends some 10 years ago and loved it so much I wanted to take my wife there on a very recent trip. It was as splendid as ever and Geraldine and her family were excellent hosts. Beautiful room with good shower and crisp sheets. The breakfast was just right with a selection of jams pancakes cereal and yogurt - a lot of it home made.

We enjoyed 3nights at the Manoir. Everything was perfect and would highly recommend. Our room, Coatgourden, was very spacious and luxurious with lovely small touches and extremely comfortable. Spacious shower, tea/coffee , robes and beautiful countryside/garden view. We had Geraldine’s dinner on three nights, which we enjoyed so much, at a huge family table in a marvelous Manoir dining/ living room. The food was delicious and all in a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A small wine list also available. There are several cycle routes, off the main roads, suitable for leisure cyclists and more advanced cyclists alike, which are accessed just at entrance to Manoir. The countryside is lovely and pretty lunch spots can be discovered. In the other direction, the town of Carhaix is a very short distance away for shopping etc. The main attractions for us however were the beauty of the stunningly decorated Manoir itself and the gardens, and the wonderfully welcoming feeling extended by Geraldine and her family. We look forward to returning Margaret.
