Porta Altinia Suites

After a long search we settled on Porta Altinia Suites. We would have preferred a higher spec hotel, but Treviso is limited if you want to stay within a comfortable walk of the Centre. This venue is certainly conveniently located between Train Station and the town. Perhaps because of that, it can be a bit rowdy as evening closes in. We witnessed a fight on the bridge over the river, nothing serious but punches and a head thrown. The room, a Junior Suite was as pictured in the website, sparsely furnished but the en-suite was newly refurbed. It was like a setting for an Edward Hopper painting. The room did the job and was fine for two nights. Staff at reception friendly and helpful.

Great location, right between railway station and start of the walled town. In fact the Suites are part of the walls and a gate. Hotel Carlton is a basic business hotel. Bar is really a room with waiter service. Nobody else there when we had a nightcap. Room very clean but a bit plain - think a setting for a Hopper painting. Probably a bit pricey for what you get. Treviso is cute/pretty.

Excellent place to stay, very convenient location close to downtown Treviso, Train station to go to Venice and more. All walking distance.

The hotel is average. It is connected to the Carlton hotel where you check in and have breakfast. It appears to be much more expensive for no particular reason

This hotel is significantly overpriced and completely misleading. The photos suggest a quaint boutique hotel. In reality, it is merely a minimally renovated section of a large business hotel. All key amenities, including the main entrance and breakfast hall, are shared, providing a corporate and impersonal atmosphere. The room itself is unacceptably small and offers no acoustic insulation, meaning noise is a constant issue. Worse, the room had a strong and persistent sewage odor coming from the bathroom. Furthermore, the provided amenities are cheap, low-quality junk. Given the high cost, this lack of basic hygiene, combined with the poor quality and fundamental misrepresentation, makes this hotel absolutely not worth booking

It was a great hotel Specially the location.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, excellent location.

Perfect area, nice pricw and a good breakfast Very good standard compaired to what is usually found in Italy. Fair priced and a good breakfast. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is situated close to the train station whixh is prefect if you want to go ro Venice or tha fair grounds in Pordenone. We have stayed there for our business trips and will continue to stay there also for coming trips.
