"The reception hours listed are incorrect. Trip states that the reception is staffed until 11 PM on weekdays. I arrived at 10 PM and the receptionist was just leaving. Self check-in didn't work, and the door was already locked at 10 PM. I managed to get in thanks to other guests and caught the receptionist. The room was quite clean. My request for a quiet room was fulfilled. Because of the location, I would never book this hotel again. It's only accessible from the train station via a detour, and if I'm going to walk that far, I would book directly in the city center next time."

"Very nice hotel in a great location, close to the Porta Nigra and city centre just a few minutes walk away. It was easy to find and parking was easy to get in to. Plenty of parking spaces as well. We received a warm welcome and were able to check in right away. Our room was overlooking the main road which was noisy with the windows open. It was also very hot when we stayed here but sadly there was no air con. There was a fan in the room but it was that hot, the fan didn’t make much difference. The room was large and clean, same with the bathroom. The bed was comfy but the pillow was a bit soft and I normally sleep on 3 pillows so I rolled my duvet up and put it under the pillow. I didn’t need the duvet due to the heat so why not, it worked and I got a good nights sleep. The shower was lovely with great water pressure. Breakfast was very good with everything you needed and the staff kept everything topped up. I was sorry we didn’t stay here longer but we have said we will go back when we can spend a couple of days there to explore the area more. Hopefully it won’t be as hot next time. I did find Woolworths in the city centre and couldn’t resist shopping in there which meant we then had to walk back to the hotel with all the shopping I purchased. The cathedral was a lovely place to visit as well. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the city centre to choose from. They had a big music festival on in the centre but we was leaving the day it started sadly and missed it. So overall a great place to stay."

"The hotel facilities and services are very good, but the sauna is charged separately. Convenient parking was the main reason I chose this hotel as I was only passing through for one night. The hotel is on the edge of town, and it is easy to walk to the main street, but it is a certain distance from the main attractions. By the way, you can visit Marx's former residence..."

"Really good place to stay at! We stayed only one night, but really enjoyed it. Apartment has anything you might need during your stay (all utensils, kettle, pans, pots, coffee machine, toaster, hair dryer). Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed and sofa are comfortable for sleeping. Price is absolutely reasonable for this level of service. The only thing is that we didn't have towels for third person"

"We received a warm welcome and had booked two queen-size and one king-size, the latter with a river view. You really had to look very closely to see even a bit of the river. The room was also quite a bit smaller than the queen-size and had sloping walls, meaning you had to be careful, especially in the dark. Unfortunately, there was no coffee in the room, but the breakfast was fine. The city center is within walking distance, making it a great base. It was disappointing, however, that our rooms hadn't been cleaned after we returned from the city. No clean towels was the least pleasant problem, but fortunately, the reception was kind enough to provide them."
