B&B Hotel Trieste Reviews

Quite disappointed with the room. Although it was spacious, it felt quite stuffy, and most of us found it hot and uncomfortable during the night as if the air conditioner isn’t there. The location was a plus, though. It’s conveniently located near both the Trieste Autostazione and the train station. There are plenty of Asian food options nearby, and most of Trieste’s main attractions are within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city on foot.

B&B Hotel was a chain, so the quality won't be too bad. However, the hotel is located next to a park with frequent protests, which may be noisy from time to time. Also there was limited socket place for charging your phones. Otherwise the hotel was fine for the price it offered.

We had a very good stay at B&B. The check in was easy. The room was very clean, plenty of amenities available and the breakfast was very good. Thank you.

Good location from Trieste Centrale Station. Very kind staffs. Breakfast is soso... It is better to have it in the cafe outside.

Perfect location and excellent staff and service. The room was very clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. However, a fridge for water during the summer would be amazing, and the shower needs a good scrub.

Very near the train station, but a bit of a walk from Piazza della Unita d'Italia, and the area itself has a few restaurants. Good breakfast spread. Comfy bed and the bathroom has a bidet.

I wasn't very satisfied with the room; I'm quite tall and kept bumping my head. Then there was the bed – it was incredibly uncomfortable. As soon as you lay down, you sank right in, like sleeping in a hammock. Why would I pay 50 or 60 euros to sleep in a hammock? It felt like those huge, square pillows I've encountered in some German hotels. I hope those who understand know what I mean. This was my first time staying at a Airbnb, and I won't stay there again unless absolutely necessary.

The hotel is close to the train and bus stations, making it convenient for those who need to get around by public transport. The room is simple but clean, and breakfast is available for an additional fee. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. You can leave your backpacks at the hotel. The city center is really close and can be reached on foot. There's a pub next to the hotel where you can eat throughout the day. I recommend it.

The elevator was under maintenance, and yet they gave me a room on the fourth floor, which was excessively hot and had no way to open the windows. It's a shame because the hotel is convenient to the station and the breakfast is good.

The main thing is the location. Right next to the bus and train stations. And it was a 20-minute walk from the port. I imagine this used to be a fashionable mansion. High ceilings, a pompous staircase. But the room converted into a private residence is a bit odd. The central room with a double bed is flawless. But the second single bed is right in the hallway by the door. The hallway is about 8 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. You open the door, and there it is, the bed. And instead of slats, there's thick, creaky plywood. Not very presentable. And the bathroom is funny, like a tall, narrow cabinet, with a 30-centimeter gap past the toilet and bidet. Overall, not bad. But nothing special.

Due to a location error, I accidentally made a mistake while in heavy rain, even though I was already in another city. However, upon realizing the problem, I immediately initiated a cancellation request, only to be unexpectedly rejected. I then contacted Ctrip customer service, only to be told that the hotel could only offer a token subsidy of 200 yuan because they disagreed with the hotel's terms. Such appalling, inhumane, and blatantly unethical practices, clearly violating international hotel regulations, are utterly disgusting. Please be warned and avoid this hotel!

Located in the city center, many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel has a retro style and is very charming.
