I thought it was a hotel, but it's more like a B&B. The price is a bit high, there are not many rooms, and the location is quite remote, but the scenery is OK, and the food is really, really delicious.

This excellent hotel is really a resort. It is off the beaten path, but worth the extra travel time to get there. The staff are very friendly and the food at both restaurants is very good. There is easy access to the beach and it’s quiet. We were there for new years. I highly recommend it!

The Sunstar hotel is very nice and clean, with the pool area. The hotel was about 10 min walk from the stunning Nilaveli beach. The staff at the Sunstar Hotel were very friendly and accommodating, making sure that all of our needs were met throughout our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Sunstar Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Nilaveli.

Welcome to Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. Nice hotel with great swimming pool. Hotel is close to the beach, you can walk there very fast. Service was good, friendly and kind staff with great English language skills. My friend and she's family really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Swimming pool, also to childrens pool was very nice size and well maintained, very clean water and surrounding.

The price and quality correspond. Cleaning is only on request, and the linen is not changed. There are no shampoos or conditioners, they put a small soap. The staff is polite and friendly. There is a parking lot, air conditioning in the room, weak wi-fi. In general, a simple and budget hotel, worth the money. Of course, you should not expect something extraordinary.
