Premier Inn Tring

Premier Inn Tring ★★★

📍 Tring Hill, Tring

"Overall an average stay. Friendly staff. Hotel is dated and shows signs of wear. Our room was by a fire door and was noisy during the night. Cleanliness could be improved."

Pendley Manor
8.9 (109 reviews)

Pendley Manor ★★★★

📍 Cow Ln, Tring

"The hotel is located in a large manor. It is an independent building. It is very quiet and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. The interior decoration is antique and has a sense of history, which is in line with our needs and expectations."

The Greyhound Wigginton

The Greyhound Wigginton ★★★

📍 Chesham Road, Tring

"We stayed in Room 5 at The Greyhound for nearly a week whilst having building work at our home. It’s a lovely front facing room, large and spacious! Despite being at the front on the road, it was surprisingly quiet! Beautifully decorated with some original features. Separate entrance so didn’t have to go through the pub if we didn’t want to. The pub staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The menu for evening meal was large and varied - the food delicious!!! They don’t serve breakfast at the pub but there is a lovely community shop/cafe behind it which did lovely breakfast choices. Would definitely stay again!"

Premier Inn Tring ★★★
"I rarely leave negative reviews, but after our experience checking into Premier Inn Tring this evening, I feel compelled to warn other families. We arrived after an exhausting day packing for a military house move with three children under four, including a toddler and an eight-month-old. There was an issue with the booking payment between the hotel and our booking agent, which I completely understand can happen. What was completely unacceptable, however, was the attitude and conduct of the receptionist, Natalia. Rather than showing even the slightest empathy or practical support to a visibly exhausted parent travelling alone with very young children, she was abrupt, confrontational, dismissive and repeatedly hid behind “policy”. At one stage, despite the issue clearly taking time to resolve between the hotel and the booking agent, she would not even allow us access to the room so I could change nappies and settle the children while the matter was sorted. I was repeatedly forced to walk backwards and forwards through reception juggling distressed children while she continued to reiterate that none of it was her fault. Even once the booking issue was eventually resolved, there was no apology, no acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused, and absolutely no customer care whatsoever. I travel regularly for work and have stayed in many hotels over the years. I can honestly say I have rarely encountered service delivered with such little professionalism, warmth or basic human decency. Even the booking agent who spoke to her directly commented on how abrupt she was. This review is not about the booking error itself. These things happen. It is entirely about how customers are treated when problems arise. We are only staying here out of necessity during our move, but I would not choose to stay here again and would certainly not recommend it to families travelling with young children."
