We enjoyed staying at this hotel with half board. Loved Seaview!!! It’s so nice! Breakfast was better than dinner I think. Swimming pool was quite big and clean. Air conditioning was not in public area so we loved our room with icy cold aircon.

I'll start with a quick summary. This is a beautiful hotel, great staff, stunning scenery. Now, if you're a fussy eater, like I always say, don't go to all inclusives then come on TA whining. Also, if you're one of those people who expects their hotels to be in mint condition, this isn't the place for you. We arrived in the evening, tired after a 23 hour journey. The gentleman on reception was very pleasant, showed us to our room and explained the basics. One thing he did say was, you can't reserve sunbeds, first come first served. This is fair enough, but we've been here 5 days and there has always been plenty of spare sunbeds, so just ignore that part. We got to our room, now it was rustic, authentic, but not in perfect condition. Clearly the hotel isn't brand new and is used. Not an issue to us, we were very happy. Ours is apparently a deluxe room, why I honestly have no idea, as I haven't been in any others. We had a large king sized bed and a small bed in the corner for pur daughter. There are cushions placed round the outside, technically making this also a settee. We got a bath and a separate shower with a regular head and a waterfall head. Temperature can be a bit temperamental, basically there isn't cold water, only hot or warm. Fine for adults, just be careful with kids. Also in the room are a mini bar, TV(almost all channels are in French), beautifully working aircon and a safe. Tea and coffee making facilities, which we never use anywhere we go. This is a hotel of only 64 rooms I believe, so the all inclusive buffets obviously have less selection than if you go to a massive complex. Not something that ever bothers us, even our fussy 8 year old daughter always finds something she likes. The staff are very attentive, nothing is too much trouble, I think they pride themselves on looking after guests and making stays as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Can't speak too much on drinks selection, as a teetotaller. Always water on hand, which is generally that cold, due to a small fridge at the bar. Put it in your mini fridge and it's much better. The wifi is sporadic, I already knew this and purchased a tourist sim in the airport, very easy and quick to do. It was 15 Euros for 200gb, which is ample for anybody. I had prepaid for mine from the UK, but to be honest, I don't think it made it that much quicker. There are 2 pools, which whilst unheated, are quite warm. Not sure if this is down to the gorgeous Mauritian climate, the fact the pools are quite shallow, or a combination. Either way, the warmest non-heated pools I have ever been in and I've been about a bit. One pool is 1.2m deep, the other 0.6m There is a small entertainment team, doing the usual stretching, aqua gym, a small show at 9pm which changes. Things like singers, Dj night, etc. Nothing special, but a little bit of something to do. Yesterday I went with them on their Waterfall Cascade, which is a trip to the Grand River South East Waterfall. This isn't a trip f

we stayed at this hotel for 11 nights from 31st may to 11th june 2025. We had a brilliant time and wished we had booked a full fortnight. probably smaller than a lot of hotels as it has just 1 bar and 1 restaurant but this wasn't an issue, it feels more homely and you get to know the staff and them you, the food in the restaurant was plentiful and tasty, lots of variety. Nabil and the restaurant team were very attentive, Shout out to the Omelette lady at breakfast, i miss them lol. one waitress stood out, Kajal I think her name was, wish we had been able to say goodbye to her before we left. It was our 30th anniversary whilst we were there and they arranged a cake and 4 course complementary romantic meal with waitress service (Kajal) and champagne. My husbands birthday was the day we arrived and we had a cake and staff singing and clapping for that. Now the bar team... Bayish and the team make the best cocktails. the only slight criticism I would have is the drink choice on the AI isn't the best, we was told on checking in that everything was included but it isn't. measures are generous 😃 and most of the staff had our next white rum and coke ready as we were finishing the last lol. All in all a lovely hotel in a authentic setting,"Colin" the Cockerel woke us every morning. The free boat to Isle Aux Cerfs is a nice touch, just wish we could have longer there, maybe go in the morning and come back mid afternoon, currently it's 12.45 to the Island and back at 15.00 so not much time there. it was spotlessly clean, attractive and had a relaxed fun vibe. We absolutely would stay there again and we plan to return.

The hotel has a great location with an amazing view! It's a place where you can relax and also do a lot of cool things, like snorkeling, kayak, boat trips. The food was very good! The staff was always friendly, very involved in all the activities. Everything was very clean! The bar service was great: fresh and cold drinks, cool cocktails served in a second!

Lovely hotel. Make sure you get a car - not much to do in the surrounding area and a car is imperative to explore. Staff fantastic, good selection of food but often bland. Very fresh. Nice spacious rooms with views of the mountains and sea. Fantastic service from the staff in the restaurant and bar. Table service in the evenings for drinks and self-serve buffet. Lovely clean pool area. Boat trips and excursions straight from outside the hotel. Wouldn't recommend staying if you are not willing to drive around the island to explore. Don't expect a 5* if you are paying 3* prices.

We stayed at the Laguna beach for 10 nights, highly recommend the hotel, lovely food great selection of fresh foods, the lady who makes the omelette is so lovely and friendly, entertainment staff are great especially kush who helped us a lot with recommendations of where to go. We hired a car for a week, this is definitely needed if you like to look around as taxis are quite expensive. Hotel clean and tidy. Overall we had a lovely time.
