Ikal Bungalows

We loved our bungalow, as it was well-designed, had a functional kitchen, and many useful gadgets like an iron, a hair dryer, or umbrella for sunny weather. The shared area had a lovely vibe and was perfect for recharging mentally with all the greenery, pool sounds, and chirping birds. We could even squeeze some physical activities into our routine, as the place had a dedicated space for yoga with mats, small dumbbells, and resistance bands. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves, although the presence of the security guard was comforting. Our host was friendly and helpful, answering our questions on WhatsApp or providing tips on hustle-free navigation in the Tulum jungles.

Stayed at Ikal with a group of my 7 girlfriends and had the best time! We booked two bungalows and it truly felt like we were at a resort. The property was clean and beautifully kept, there was a perfect little private workout area for the morning, and overall the aesthetic was amazing! The location felt super safe and private even for girls in their 20s, and it was super easy to walk into town. We went to La Veleta in the main downtown area which had live music and great food and drinks, so highly recommended going there if you stay. It was easy to get a ~20 minute taxi to all the beach clubs, so we really got the best of it all. Thank you Ikal, definitely worth every penny!

Our stay in Ikal was fabulous!!! So calming and quite we were able to get around tulum!! We even got food delivered to our Airbnb! The bikes provided were useful when we needed them!!! Overall it so gorgeous! The A/c in the bungalows is just what we needed after a long day out!

My friends and I stayed here for our spring vacation and we had such a wonderful time. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and the owners were very responsive. Upon arrival the place was very clean and inviting. The staff gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and beach clubs as well as transportation. We had no issues all week! Despite the intense heat we stayed cool during the day and night. I would highly recommend staying here!

I stayed here with a group of my girlfriends for a girls trip and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Everything about it was so beautiful and such a peaceful get away!

We had an amazing stay here in a beautiful palapa roofed home. It was well equipped, even had coffee, tea and sugar. Bathroom included ample towels, and shower \ hair products. It was nicely decorated, the hammock was great to relax in and beds were comfortable. Outside was beautiful with lots of plants, tiny geckos, birds and a few resident cats which were sweet and friendly. The pool was refreshing and had a good temperature. There was a rustic covered outdoor common area with more hammocks and a place for yoga or meditation. The onsite caretaker was friendly and helpful, even offering us some mosquito repellent. Pool and grounds were cleaned daily. I highly recommend!

e room looked exactly like it does in the website images. There was plenty of space for 3 adults. Despite having other buildings all around, it felt like we had our own private jungle getaway. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.
